Force Shapechange

5th Edition
With this spell, you force any shapechanger to revert into its true form. When you cast this spell, you choose up to three creatures you can see in range that you know or believe to be Shapechangers. Any Shapechangers targeted by the spell must make a Charisma Saving Throw, being forced back to its true form amid wracking pain on a failure. A target that fails takes 6d10 Force damage, or half damage and not forced to its true form on a success. Any creature forced into its true form in this way is locked into its true form for the duration.
For purposes of this spell, a Shapechanger is any creature with the Shapechanger Subtype or an ability that allows it to assume an alternate form. A wizard who knows Polymorph is not a shapechanger (since a spell is not an ability), but a spirit centipede is.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, you can target two additional creatures for each slot level above its base level.
This is a rare option
This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.
