You attempt to encase a Medium or smaller creature you can see within ice. The target must succeed on a Strength Saving Throw or become Restrained in ice for the duration. At the beginning of each of its turns, it takes 1d8 Cold damage. At the end of each of its turns, the creature can repeat the Saving Throw. On success, the spell ends. If the creature suffers an instance of at least 5 Fire or Bludgeoning damage while restrained, the ice breaks and the target is freed, ending the spell. Creatures with the Fire Subtype automatically pass on the Saving Throw made at the end of their turn.   At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, the damage icnreases by 1d8 and the damage required to break or melt the icea increases by 5 for each slot level above its base level.
