Alderbloom City

Effectively the new capital of the Old Empire of Eal. Alderbloom Forest was a stronghold of the druids of Eal, led by Archdruid Zyla. The druids still hold sway here, as the Astromancers will permit no corruption of the natural order in the area, and the Golden Acorn is still cherished and well-maintained despite the cooling relations with the Little Warriors. No one wants to see a return of the blight.

The Empire is led here by Emperor Jae'Hazir, first-born son of the recently deceased Jae'Novak. A great astronomy tower is being built into the highest tree here to rival the old Tower of Astromancy. The First Legion rebuilds here, training alongside clerics of the Silent Queen and necromancer wizards.

The city still trades in lumber, Sungwood and fruits. Bulk goods such as grain give the city a pass and trade at Eal due to the convenience of the Drakar and Dice rivers, so Alderbloom may never prove to be a trading hub, but it is becoming an administrative center and a second beating heart of the Empire.

Empress O'Storma II now rules the Empire from this city, under the guidance of Archdruid Zyla.
