Yestersight

Yestersight is a congential condition that effects the progeny of Emperor Casimir Rosenthal and haunts the Royal House of Rosenthal's line. Typically characterised of a set of visions and magical occurences that are believed to be aftershocks of the cultivated powers of Emperor Casimir Rosenthal, though not all lines of progeny seem to be haunted by these visions, as these effects seem to skip the progeny of Emperor Casimir Rosenthaland Hananina Amaya.

Transmission & Vectors

The main way the condition is transmitted is via being born within the Rosenthal bloodline, and not also being an ancestor of Hananina Amaya. This cannot be transmitted to lovers, and is simply one that one is born with. Due to it's position as entirely congenital, it can be seen in some circles as a thing of honour and a sign of dormant magical energies within the child itself. However, to most whom suffer with it, it is nothing more than a nuisance and a headache.

Symptoms

Those affected with Yestersight typically experience a set of visions or haunted memories of a past world that may never have been, but amongst who suffer there are consistencies. As if the memories dormant in the blood awaken things that have been suppressed and unspoken. This yestersight speaks of not only the memories of Casimir but of their other ancestor that bonded with Casimir. For example the first case of Yestersight, Eldest daughter of Casimir, Elizabeth Rosenthal experienced the memories not only of her sire, Casimir but also of Pierre Rostova her other parent.
