Day 8 Notos 45, Year 352

• Radjic apparently in Zaiid's will. He now gets his marbles if he dies.
• Sina Al'Torif likely gone to ground.
• +50g/each from Remzi.
• Shopping!
• Remzi seems keen on helping us given the shit we tracked down.
• She offers to gather up our alchemy stuff. Vasia seems suspicious.
• Walking to Baru's caravan site.. spot some guard helmets in windows. Dinged up?
• Looks like they tried to arrest Baru, Baru's guards beat killed them, dumped them in the old well outside of town that dried up. Hear people's voices coming from it sometimes at night.
• Get magic items.
• He's heard that
• Cirina goes to attend her Ritual of Stardust.
• Learns from some of the others about their theories about the recent aggression in town being linked to the water from the magical well.
• Heads back to the inn.
• Gaia of the Torrential Carnage. Purple skin. Assassin.
• Cult of Charg.
• Having a gathering at midnight regarding things that happened in Fian.
• The Flayer (12' tall minotaur)
• From northern coast.
• Two weeks ago, giant creature as tall as the city walls, corroded walls, city now being attacked by thousands of devils.
• Flayer has similar story.
• Before the seals were in place, the planes were all together.
• Devil business. Something messed up.
• Head to the well to investigate.
• Distant footsteps. Stone grinding against stone.
• Akito teleports down.
• Ground reddish. Looks infected. Scattered metal. Red crystals. Shards sticking up.
• Seems similar to other stuff and what was in Samir's journal.
• Arcane engine off in the corner doing its job.
• Some sort of automata broken apart.
• Hear Sina Al'Torif calling from down the tunnel.

Evan's Session Report

Notos 45-46 - Resupply and Recon (3/22/25)

With Prince Zaiid departed for Kurakesh, our heroes left the grindylow at the palace and set about trying to plan their exact next steps. Locating Sina, of course, was high on the list, but also reconnecting with the allies in town, Baru and Remzi.

So, our party visited both, selling looted gear, purchasing new equipment, and convincing Baru to reward them early, with the plan to find Sina waiting until the morning.

Also, Cirina spotted the third, long-vanished moon in the sky! Surely that’s normal, except for all the ways that it fundamentally is not. Cirina also, before bed, went to a small gathering of other like-minded mages to celebrate the Solstice, learning that the water in Arra was showing a strange magical residue, as if something had been added to it…

The next morning, the sun rose wrong. Despite it being just as high in the sky, it didn’t convey the same amount of brightness. That, however, is firmly outside of the party’s pay grade, and they set about trying to find Sina. In the process, Vasia noticed someone tailing them, broke off and tailed the tailer only to find a familiar face: Gaia, of the Torrential Carnage. Another one of the Sahkil Tormentor cult assassins. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Gaia told Vasia about an atttack on the cult - and a meeting soon, as things had been happening in other cities as well.

In the north, a devil rose from the ocean and corroded a city’s wall in a heartbeat. In the south, a horde of elementals laying siege.

But problems for another time. The party has a Sina to catch. Tracking the only lead they had, they descended into Arra’s well… and promptly ran into cultists doing something to the water there. A battle ensued, with Neesja getting a sizeable chunk of her chest bitten out, before the party emerged victorious.

Only time will tell if the other members of the cult, further down in the twisting tunnels under Arra, heard the scuffle.
