Day 1 Notos 37, Year 352

• Starting Arra in the midst of Notos (the Blaze, summer month)
• Small original town, dwarfed by rapid hastily constructed portion of town for adventurers/visitors.
• Neesja and Radjic arrive on a caravan. Still missing their marble.
• Sayid Ala Kubaba, 32nd in line to the throne, local magistrate.
• Decide to look for work.
• Akito looking for work.
• Strange sounds coming from the well.
• Strange lake.
• Leads enough that people are paying.
• Cirina Nishem
• Remzi looking for an expedition to go West, but has had a lot of misfortune.
• Comedic series of utter misfortune.
• Vasia
• Rumours of a fellow Iggeret Cult member accused of murder? Person she knows didn't actually do it.
• Job Board at the Pathfinder Society.
• 60gp - Assist in tracking down Eser Pree, wanted for murder of local individual Samir Es’Inlas. Thought to have fled into the Wastes. Reward only offered if alive.
• 50gp - Locate the Pathfinder Society missing caravan, last seen en route from Arra to the outpost in the ruins of Weh Antros Khubalai
• 75gp - Apprehend local bandit leader, One-Eyed Sevrin, last seen in the Frozen Forest. Contact is Justice Sina Al’Torif
• 200gp - Local artificer, Remzi, wants to know what’s happened to her assistants at Saminos Lake.
• Go to speak with Justice Sina Al'Torif.
• Samir was pretty suspicious of a couple people in town.
• Now in four pieces in his house.
• Believes Eser is involved in a cult (they are).
• Off to speak to the body, it seems..
• Still not sure we trust Akito.

The Age of Mortality, Notos 37, Year 352 (Dec 21st, Session 0.5-1) - The Borders of the Bane

On the western side of the Auritian continent, in the Kingdom of FIan, our heroes and potential traveling circus met in the same way that quite a lot of people do - while looking for work. Two of them - the tanuki siblings Neesja and Radjic, from far off Ponais - in the small town of Arra looking for a missing marble, while Akito - ghost hunter, wanderer, and kitsune - sauntered into town in search of ghosts to hunt.

They were joined at the job board by Vasia and Cirina - cultist assassin and Waste-wandering explorer, respectively - and quickly interrupted by the siblings when they attempted to abscond with a few of the job postings listed at the Pathfinder Society.

After some conversations - and some questions about Akito’s sanity and competence - they agreed, sort of, to work together at least on their first few jobs; after all, the wilds around Arra are dangerous, with bandits and cultists and monsters spotted more and more frequently.

The group then headed to the House of Justice to ask some questions about one of the jobs - the murder of one Samir Es’Inlas apparently at the hands of Eser Pree, a local strange-but-harmless type. None of our group, however, particularly liked Justice Sina - though Radjic was able to acquire her signature and stamp on a permit to inspect the victim’s home.

With that, they headed across town to Samir’s house to search for further clues; and, if Akito isn’t entirely a sham (who doesn’t know what a basilisk is, after all?) to speak with the man’s ghost.
