Spooktober 2025: Doom

Back in July, as one of my contributions to Summer Camp 2025, I wrote an article about “The Tunnel of Babble.” In response to that piece about an unfinished project to tunnel down to the purported home of the Sister Goddesses, Serukis commented, “I am very curious what will happen if they continue digging.”

Today’s image tries to envision, from the perspective of the goddesses themselves, what might be waiting for the world if the tunnel project were to continue. The short answer: doom.
