Exotic Ranged Weapons


  Exotic ranged weapons are those that don't typically fit into the normal categories and may include some wild elemental designs or unconventional ammunition or other designs. This page includes unconventional firearms and species-specific exotic weapons that can be obtained through trade or finding schematics. Most exotic firearms require at least one exotic grade component. Exotic schematics are otherwise not obtained easily.

Aphorini Weapons



  Acrys Launcher
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  An exceedingly rare portable anti-tank weapon that is used against invading forces, the Aetherion Crystal Launcher magnetically launches a shaped charge of unstable Aetherion crystals which can detonate at a predetermined point with a timed fuse, like an airburst. The initial penetration of the warhead will go through multiple targets or layers of armor, and then fragment into a conical area of effect, sending volatile aetherion shrapnel in a wide spread. The cost of the warheads is prohibitive due to the sensitive nature of construction and is only used very sparingly. It is sometimes referred to as the Acrys Launcher.

  Aetherion Needle Carbine
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A weapon that shears off fragments of Aetherion crystals and accelerates them magnetically, the Aetherion Needle Carbine can cause a combo detonation after two successful attacks on the same target, dealing thunder and lightning damage upon detonation in an area of effect. To do this, the weapon emits a directed energy signal that excites the latent energy stored in the crystal shards. The weapon's individual projectiles do not do much damage, but the secondary effects are substantially stronger.

  Psionic Amplifier Gun
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The psi-blast weaponry that the Aphorini use can deal debilitating psychic damage to opponents caught unprepared, as most enemies do not have equipment that can withstand the attacks. This weapon is effectively an energy shotgun that fires a blast of psionic energy. It utilizes Aetherion Crystals embedded in the fingers of a sort of glove mechanism with three electrodes wired to the user. The Aphorini can amplify this damage with their own powers, adding their proficiency bonus in number of damage die to the attack, but this Special Maneuver can only be used once per Short or Long Rest. Praetorians use this weapon to great effect to suppress and subjugate opponents.

Avundari Weapons


ViK 3-IR Smart Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  Within the final decade of The Last Century, the Avundari were getting more involved with computerized firearms development. As a means of compensating for erratic changes in elevation while in flight, the Volanti intelligent Kinetics group designed a rifle with smart, semi-guided munitions that can account for rapid changes in distance and target movement. The weapon first needs to fire a tagging dart before the munitions will home in on the target. Otherwise, it can be fired normally. It also comes with a built-in computerized gyro stabilizer to ensure shots don't veer off target before leaving the barrel. With the guided munitions, it fires slowly as it has to compute each shot's trajectory and flight path.

Chiral Weapons


Chiral Lanza
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  The Lanza is a feat of micro-engineering using cannibalized remote control car parts. It's basically a motorized slingshot that can fire just about any junk that is thrown in it, as long as it's small enough. It's a funky DIY invention, borne of the weird and innovative minds of Chirals; it automatically starts spooling with its motor after firing, and can be ready to fire another payload within 1 second of firing. It is powered by a single two-stroke micro-motor that is started by an electric trigger, and the motor sounds like a tiny weed-wacker. The trigger mechanism is what starts the motor with a short delay. The motor itself operates the pulley mechanism that winds back the catch of the Lanza. A lot of the time, the Chiral Lanza will be used to launch explosives much further than a normal slingshot could.

Dragonborn Weapons



  Armanov Vspyshka-6 Magnesium Cartridge Laser Revolver
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The Vspyshka, or 'Flashbulb' was originally an experimental design early after the great war but as the technology matured, so did the design. It is probably the most common example available of a working handheld laser weapon. Its original design was intended to blind hostile nations' astronauts if engaged in a tense situation, but its power per cartridge was brought up substantially so it's a lot more threatening than the super-bright flashbulb it once was. It's a chemically-powered laser revolver.
  Zarya Kuvalda-9-H Jet Propelled Hammer
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Kuvalda is an unconventional and somewhat experimental jet-propelled sledgehammer that hits hard enough to send opponents flying, and its tremendous force can send shockwaves that crush bodies underneath armor, but it is very difficult to use. When it does manage to hit something, though, whatever it hits is sure to have a bad day. This particular design was developed at the Zarya DBO propulsion laboratory.
  Zarya Polyus-17-F Laser Pistol
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  Manufactured by the Dragonborn-operated Zarya DBO, produced at their photonics factory, the Polyus is known as a fairly reliable sidearm that is capable of emitting powerful bursts of focused light. It uses a small, but powerful capacitor that can be recharged either via normal means or magical means. It is one of the few Dragonborn-developed laser weapons that can be recharged without needing new ammunition. Unsurprisingly, laser weapons are fantastic against creatures sensitive to light. Its original intent was to be used in special operations against the Verdoyant, but its development was stalled until the Cataclysm.
  Zarya Sokol-19-F Laser Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  Manufactured by the Dragonborn-operated Zarya DBO, produced at their photonics factory, the Sokol is the big sibling of the Polyus, and is capable of emitting even more powerful bursts of focused light. It uses a small, but powerful capacitor that can be recharged either via normal means or magical means. The Sokol boasts a much greater range than the Polyus and better overall ammo efficiency, but at a cost to weight.

Drakaan Weapons



  Courser Blade
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A Drakaan melee weapon that emits superheated plasma along its edge, meant to defeat even the toughest armor while simultaneously incinerating flesh and bone. It uses a tungsten leading edge with silicon carbide as a backing material. It is only ever used in CQC when ranged attacks are not an option. Its predecessor was developed as a plasma cutting blade for industrial applications. It is capable of unleashing a short range wave of plasma.

  DC-2-01 Compressor Pistol
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  The Drakaan-manufactured DC-2-01 is capable of launching one of the most powerful projectiles out of any sidearm, but it is fairly limited in range. Drakaan compressors are a stealthy weapon class that operates off of electric motors to pressurize internal chambers with air or other gases to launch the weapon at fairly high, but subsonic velocities. They were at one point modified construction equipment that were used in workers' uprisings against the oppressive Progenitors in the Drakaan's original plane of existence. The compressors used by the Drakaan on Dunia are strictly built as weapons of war, especially designed to combat the larger, more dangerous fauna and mutated monsters that rove the wastes.

  DC-4 Compressor Repeater
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The DC-4 is a Drakaan design, a heavily modified, oversized air-powered nailgun previously used as construction equipment. It launches 15x100mm tungsten-core metal stakes at a subsonic velocity, though relatively quietly when compared to a firearm or an arc weapon. The compressor uses an electrically-operated motor that has the option to charge with a handcrank, but is otherwise operated by an Aetherion power cell. The magazines on the DC-4 are relatively low capacity, but this is because of the overall bulk of the stakes.

  Piledriver Cannon
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  An abnormal weapon with no proper name aside from 'Piledriver', the Drakaan-made Piledriver Cannon is often a crew-served weapon on board the Arcrider hunting fleets, built for taking on the fearsome Kuthban-Tinin. The projectile launched by the weapon is close to 4 feet long, and is a tungsten-cored rocket-propelled harpoon with barbs that run the entire length of the harpoon, that open up after launch in flight to stabilize it. It is launched from an assembly that has an assisted pneumatic launch system. It operates similarly to the compressor weapons but with the added element of combustion to aid in propulsion, taking away the 'stealthy' element. The Piledriver Cannon has 6 separate pressurizing chambers that fire in a two stage sequence.

  Type 40 Arc Caster
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  An earlier Drakaan weapon, the Type 40 Arc Caster is a powerful short range weapon deployed frequently during boarding actions or aboard the Drakaan arcrider fleet to protect against would-be invaders. Its closest ballistic analogue would be a shotgun. The weapon requires a secondary capacitor attached to it to supply the power necessary to deliver the less-focused shocks. It does not use an ionizing path, for its arrays instead create a very large discharge of energy with some guidance plating to help 'guide' the lightning emitted from the weapon. Because of this reduced focus, things that mitigate lightning damage do well against it, but unprotected targets suffer the full power of its discharges. It requires frequent recharging to deal with the high power drain.

  Type 77 Arc Pistol
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  An earlier model electrolaser pistol designed by the Drakaan, this particular weapon is highly portable and also incredibly dangerous. This was one of the first successful attempts to miniaturize the Arc weapons to a more compact format. As a result, it has shorter range than the 2-handed arc weapons. It ionizes a path for plasma to travel along and then creates an electrical discharge similar to lightning. This weapon is most often used as a sidearm for Drakaan engineers and commanders. It has some 'guidance plating' that allows the user to adjust the range and channel the lightning to the destination of choice.

  Type 84 Arc Repeater
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  An adaptation of pre-Cataclysm Drakaan technologies, the Type 84 Arc Repeater is an electrolaser, which ionizes a path through the air using a laser for plasma to channel from a projector down a set path, creating a reliable and predictable means of sending lethal voltage via the plasma channel to a target. The weapon can induce electrical burns, paralysis, and damage to internal organs. The Type 84 is the primary arc weapon that the Drakaan wield in combat excursions. It is built with a large number of cooling cells to offset the extreme heat generated by the capacitors when they expend energy.
  Their means of storing power may have changed since before the Cataclysm, but the functionality remains relatively the same. There is a bank capacitor in the weapon that can be charged from a separate power source. The power source is an Arc Charger power cell, comprised of highly conductive materials and an Aetherion crystal, which regenerates its charge from ambient magical energy. The Arc Chargers themselves can be quite volatile.

  Type 87 Arc Pistol
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A portable electrolaser pistol designed by the Drakaan, this particular weapon is highly portable and also incredibly dangerous. It ionizes a path for plasma to travel along and then creates an electrical discharge similar to lightning. This weapon is most often used as a sidearm for Drakaan engineers and commanders. It has some 'guidance plating' that allows the user to adjust the range and channel the lightning to the destination of choice.

  Type 98 Arc Sniper
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Drakaan built this Arc weapon to combat threats from a great distance, allowing them to fire one shot and burn a hole clean through whatever opponent they were facing. The amount of power discharged in a single shot is enough to cause it to arc from the point of contact to multiple other targets, sending electricity coursing through the air. The Type 98 Arc Sniper is a truly fearsome weapon, as the crack of the weapon's lightning strikes is enough to be heard several miles away. By the time the sound has reached the target, it's likely already dead and the weapon's operator has already vanished into the dunes. The weapon cannot hold a particularly large number of 'shots' in its capacitor banks though, and is best used from an advantageous position.
  Arc weapons have the distinct advantage of being rechargeable over firearms, however their ability to sustain attacks frequently comes into question due to the limitations of capacitor banks versus simple magazines where the energy is stored in the ammunition.

  Type 108 Heavy Arc Repeater
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Type 108 Heavy Arc Repeater is one of the rarer weapons that the Drakaan field, but when they do, it is meant to lay down incredible amounts of suppressive fire. It is a pulsed electrolaser, meaning it fires short pulses that channel lightning down an ionized path that the laser creates. The weapon has some advanced insulating guidance fins near its focusing array to aid in sending the lightning coursing down the channel. This particular weapon boasts more heatsinks than the other Arc weapons, along with a much larger capacitor, but the capacitor has to be worn on the back and connected via a power coupling to the electrolaser itself. Despite the heatsinks, sustained firing without shorter bursts in between will overheat the weapon.

Dwarven Weapons


C&C H-13 Mechano-Hammer
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  A hand-sledge that has an additional mechanical strike driver built into it to crack armor (or rocks and ore). The device when used against opponents will deal extra bludgeoning damage that ignores armor. It is like being hit a second time with the weapon, with a magnetically operated striking pin inside.

  C&C ROM-24-CD Remote Operated Motorized Cutting Disc
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The ROM-24-CD is a portable cutting device that magnetically suspends a diamond-tipped rotary blade at a fixed distance from the weapon, moving to where the weapon is being aimed. It is capable of launching the disc at high velocities, with a small amount of bouncing capabilities. It will rip most targets in half and has been used against undead found in The Deep. It is also used in salvage operations to recover valuable materials from vehicles that have been damaged beyond repair.

  C&C RH-39 Rockhammer
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  Effectively a stubby, portable jackhammer conveniently held in one hand with extra utility for demolitions, this industrial tool allows the wielder to gather twice the mineral or metal materials. The RH-39 Rockhammer is a pneumatically operated repeating piledriver type device that runs on an electric engine. The weapon does additional damage with repeat attacks on the same target and is incredibly effective against inorganic or hardshelled opponents.

  MEC x-M-2-GTR Experimental Grav-Tether Repeater
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  The x-M-2-GTR or GTR for short is a highly experimental weapon that fires semi-homing Gravitic Darts which can be pulled towards a Gravitic Tether when activated by said Gravitic Tether. The Gravitic Tether is kind of like a hockey puck in shape with proprietary adhesives designed by Tolfdir Chemworks and receives a 'charge' from the x-M-2-GTR's gravitic core. This tool, repurposed as a weapon, was first developed as a means of lifting masses that would otherwise have been impossible to for a single individual to do so. It functions through utilizing newly-discovered exotic materials that were found Post-Cataclysm, where anomalous gravity spheres were found in the MEZs. It is not known exactly how they initially formed but they have become very widespread throughout Dwarven tech as they were able to replicate the end product through meticulous analysis and create Gravitic Cores. Gravitic Cores are designed in such a way that they can be activated via electrical input. It was quickly discovered after its inception that it could be used to crush objects together, as much as pull them apart.

  MEC x-M-HPLC Portable Laser Cannon
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  Morgrim, not to be outdone by Armanov and Zarya, designed a high powered, portable laser cannon that can also be mounted on vehicles. It has the capability of dealing excessive amounts of damage in a single pulsed attack, burning holes right through vehicle armor, but has a short cooldown period during which it cannot be fired. The other mode creates a long-burn beam emitted from the weapon, which will heat the weapon up over time and then put it on a safety cooldown once it reaches its heat threshold, disallowing it from turning back on until its temperatures have safely dropped.

  MEC M-8220-OC Handheld Ore Cutter
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A miniaturization of a vehicle-mounted ore cutter, the M-8220-OC is a powerful electrothermal cutter that creates tunneling fractures in ore to prepare the materials for extraction. Applied to organic structures, though, it functions like a high powered plasma cutter. It creates a wide, slow-traveling plasma arc that it ejects at speed, which passes through most objects. Improvements to the plasma arc generator can widen the track of the projectile. The weapon also has an alternative fire mode where it can deploy a laser-triggered cutting beam emitter that repeatedly sends pulses once it starts for a short duration, dealing substantial damage to targets caught in the beam.

  MEC x-M-99-PBW Particle Beam Weapon
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  Originally a mining tool designed to break up super dense materials prior to extraction, the Morgrim Energy Concern repurposed the device as an experimental beam weapon that erodes armor and heats up the target. It deals splash in an area from the target point, and its secondary fire emits a radial blast that pushes back targets. It is a sort of linear particle accelerator, otherwise referred to as a LINAC, that fires highly ionized sheared particles from a composite block of heavy metals which is then fed through a magnetic focusing array. It is an exceedingly rare weapon to find but it does a terrifying amount of damage to targets.

  MEC M-20-PPH Plasma Projector Handgun
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The Plasma Projector Handgun, or M-20-PPH, is a weapon that can rapidly discharge projected plasma spheroids that maintain coherence for a decent distance before dissipating rapidly. The weapon can 'hold' multiple charges before launching the plasma magnetically at a lower velocity and then a secondary plasma bubble with opposing charge can be used to detonate the multi-charge spheroid for a powerful blast greater than the sum of its parts. Its primary limitation is its heat capacity, needing to vent heat after just a few shots. It has an internal Power Cell instead of a replaceable one, which recharges passively.

  MEC M-50-PPR Plasma Projector Repeater
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Plasma Projector Repeater is a larger, rapid-fire version of the PPH, and has left its experimental phase in recent years, becoming a matured technology. It is more efficient than its small handheld counterpart, and its individual projectile damage is slightly lower, but the buildup of electrothermal energy induces mechanical stress in a lot of vehicles and hardened armor targets, not to mention heat causing things to catch on fire. It also boasts a larger heatsink and better cooling systems so it can maintain sustained fire and inflict more damage in a shorter period of time. Lastly, it boasts the ability to reload its Power Cells whereas the PPH-20 has an integrated Power Cell.

  MEC x-M-PMG Portable Microwave Gun
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  The x-M-PMG Portable Microwave Gun is a horrifying weapon that cooks living and organic materials from afar, applying dangerous microwaves at a distance, potentially causing blood to literally boil inside a body, thereby bypassing most physical resistances. In extreme cases, it can cause the affected target to explode. It can also be used to interfere with missiles, radio communications, and wireless electronics, possibly disabling drones and causing them to stop functioning or crash into the ground. There is a larger variant of this weapon that is mounted to vehicles with extended range. Some Morgrim radar engineer cooked up this idea after leaving soup on top of a radar dish, to find it warmed up later on, despite the surrounding temperatures being relatively cold, and invented a microwave oven. It was the same engineer that later decided to weaponize it after accidentally leaving leftover steak for too long in the microwave, returning to find that the steak exploded all over the inside.

  MEC x-M-PPC Portable Plasma Cannon
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The x-M-PPC is effectively an upscaled plasma projector gun, which serves more of an 'artillery' role, functioning similarly to the well-known Fireball spell, but with a twist. The projectile itself is carried through the air using a magnetic spheroid, which upon impact destabilizes the entire plasma bubble, creating an electrothermal explosion, possibly vaporizing targets within its radius. Along its travel path, however, its plasma will arc at nearby targets, dealing death as the bright sphere moves. The bubble does not start expanding its ionized gas until roughly 15 or so feet after it leaves the barrel of the weapon, which is a safety measure built into the projectile's design. The velocity and power of the sphere can be adjusted, with a slower moving sphere having a larger explosion radius, and a faster moving sphere reaching its target sooner with a slightly smaller explosion radius.

  Tolfdir Chemworks (TC) C-RDL-3 Remote Detonator Launcher
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The TC C-RDL-3, otherwise known as the Remote Detonator Launcher is a proximity-charge/remote charge type blasting tool that is often used as a shorter range, but more powerful grenade launcher, capable of carrying up to five plastic explosive 'pucks' in its magazine. The pucks themselves have a shaped charge with a quick acting multi-adhesive, instantly sticking them to whatever surface they are fired at and detonating when the user chooses. These pucks are often used to set up traps when there's no other options for defense as a type of minelayer. The pucks are shot out of the weapon using a pneumatic compressor, giving it a somewhat satisfying 'bloop' sound when it fires. It was originally made as an excavation tool for gaining access to more difficult-to-reach ore.

  Tolfdir Chemworks (TC) TK-IEG-900 Imploder-Exploder Grenade
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A two-stage grenade that uses an exotic 'Gravitic Charge' component to generate a micro-singularity to pull targets towards its center and then detonates all of the accumulated mass in a large radius, repelling all targets inside its area of effect at high velocity.

  Tolfdir Kinetics (TK) TK-FPG-90 Force Projector Gun
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The TK-FPG-90 Force Projector Gun can generate a localized micro-singularity at a designated point by launching a gravitic spheroid at a surface. This micro-singularity was originally made to collect loose ore, but the engineers at Tolfdir Kinetics saw an opportunity to trap opponents in a strong gravitational field, pulling objects and creatures alike into its middle, to be easily dispatched by the weapon's primary fire. The primary fire of this weapon creates an instantaneous knockback effect by shaping the spheroid into a cylindrical pattern that produces devastating shifts in gravity. Normally, it is built to be non-lethal, but most of the time the safety limiters are taken off and it can produce crushing forces that can cause cavitations, even in tank armor.

  Tolfdir Kinetics (TK) TK-JPG-42 Jet Propulsion Gun
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  More of a mad engineer's oversized displacement toy than anything else, the TK-JPG-42 can produce gusts so strong that they can push massive targets as large as a car in any direction the wielder chooses, provided they themselves are strong enough to plant their feet and hold steadfast. The JPG-42 can also be used to flip vehicles over or force them to lose control or knock aerial targets out of the sky. Sometimes, if the operator is skillful enough, they can use it to launch themselves in a direction of their choosing or even briefly hover. As a weapon it is a bit tough to use properly, but clever users will find ways. It is often best to pair the device with armor mods that create an anchoring effect to counteract the extreme forces.

  Volkner Caseless C11 Prototype Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  Somewhat of a clockwork nightmare, the Volkner clan of dwarves designed the Caseless C11 Prototype Rifle as a means of making ammunition much more portable. The first test runs of the weapon had several rounds cook off, but later modifications to the weapon's ammunition made it much more capable of sustaining fire. It is extremely lightweight for what it is, it boasts quite a high ammunition capacity and the 3-round burst is pinpoint accurate and fires at approximately 2,000 rounds per minute for a single burst. Later iterations of the ammunition allowed for higher muzzle velocities, nearly doubling the range and AP rating. It technically fulfills the requirements for being considered a bullpup rifle, with the receiver being aft of the firing mechanism. It also has a bespoke electronic sight built to enhance target acquisition.

  Volkner Forgeworks EF-34 Powered Pickaxe
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  The Volkner clan needed a steady supply of equipment and due to supply line issues with mining equipment deliveries from other clans, invented the EF-34 Powered Pickaxe some 20 years prior to the Cataclysm. The EF stands for Elektrisch Flügeleisen, which literally translates to Electric Wing Iron in Kreusch-Czek on account of its two heads resembling a wing of sorts. A Volkner Forgeworks design, the EF-34 is built with adversarial encounters in mind, accounting for hostile wildlife and other denizens of The Deep. The electrified pick head affords a brief opportunity to escape in scenarios where gnashing teeth are too close for comfort. The diamond-tipped tungsten blade's tensile strength is exceptional for cracking the harder geodes and other rocks, and the additional shock creates fractures in porous minerals, but it is inadvisable to use the electric mode when attempting to manually extract Aetherion crystals. Its back head folds down for portability and converts the pick into a single-head. The back head functions primarily as a digging tool and can pick apart broken rocks or be used to pry open doors as well. When folded down, it also exposes a handy electric lighter which can be used to heat soup cans, ignite cigars, or even light kindling on fire. Elven Weapons



  Straya iXG-56 Smart Gun
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  A post-cataclysm Koa original, the iXG-56 or intelligent experimental gun, model 56, is a very recent design that uses an array of sensors and motorized, gyroscopic stabilizers to guide the operator's aim almost magnetically at targets in range. It uses an older Volkner machine gun model with updated components and an assist harness to address recoil concerns. The weapon also features an IR sight atop its frame. It was co-developed with Morgrim Energy Concerns as they needed a high fire rate weapon that could respond to agile monsters and ambush predators. It has a unique report that sounds almost like a motor whirring over the individual shots firing, which the weapon's cyclic rate reaches close to 1350 RPM. It is easy to 'walk' the weapon towards targets.

  Straya SPR-40 Cyclone PDW
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A Post-Cataclysm design, the SPR-40 is a 40-round weapon featuring an exotic design with superposed ammunition encased in a block magazine. SPR-40 means SuperPosed Repeater, 40 rounds personal defense weapon. It has five barrels and fires pistol-caliber rounds, but the volume of fire allows it to pierce armor without needing the muzzle energy that most armor piercing rounds would use. Turns out if you fire enough mass at something, the mechanical stress on the target will force it to yield. The magazine sits behind the weapon's trigger action, firing the rounds electronically using a repeating signal. The weapon does not accept magazine modifications, but the whole magazine is assembled all in one go. It is possible to use a sort of 'magdump' mode on it, firing all the rounds in the span of half a second, achieving a cyclic rate of 4,800 rpm.

  Straya X-ACR Flechette Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  During weapons trials in the late Interwar period, Koa Straya sought to garner several military contracts with an unconventional bullpup design that fires tiny arrows called Flechettes. It uses saboted ammunition with fin-stabilized tungsten arrows, that sat in a telescoped casing. It used a downwards ejection system once the spent casing was fired. While the weapon wasn't chosen over the venerable A-15 or D-74, it still had several manufactured prototypes, and the blueprints for the weapon are still kept in Koa's archives. The advantage of the weapon's unconventional ammunition is the higher overall armor piercing performance with the elongated flechettes, but they were prone to deviation at longer ranges, and due to materials science at the time, was hazardous to the operator and anyone near the operator. These flaws are why it wasn't adopted. Later, post-cataclysm test models utilized much more advanced materials science and eliminated the shortcomings.

  Fabrique-Automatique-Brillant (FAB) Micro-Rocket Assault Rifle - Fusil D'assaut Micro-Fusée
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  An unconventional firearm that employs miniaturized rockets with explosive warheads, the FAB Micro-Rocket Assault Rifle, otherwise abbreviated as M-RAR, was built with the intent of reducing felt recoil by having the rounds accelerate during and after leaving the barrel, making it easier for goblin hands to handle. The rounds, to compensate for lower overall velocities, are stabilized in flight by small gyroscopic metal wheels. The FAB M-RAR is a highly customizable weapon, allowing for underbarrel attachments, changes to the gas system to enhance fire rate, or altering the guidance system to allow for redirected attacks against further targets.

  Sometimes the Powrie come up with unconventional weapons. The 'Boom-Boom' is one of them. It is effectively a silent grenade launcher, but really a pulley-based slingshot system meant to deploy grenades over a great distance stealthily. This weapon was developed completely independently of the Chiral Lanza, but great minds think alike, don't they? This slingshot boasts enhanced range over its Chiral counterpart but lacks the scrapshot option.

  The Tsakhylgana-Sürleg is a scaled up railgun weapon adapted for Golyatsin hands, built by the Vettir for defeating G-Class monsters and armored landships in defense of their settlements. It needs to charge before it can fire at a target, but it only needs one shot to strike something down when fully charged.

Human Weapons



  Experimental Pulsed Energy Projectile Rifle (x-PEPR)
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  An experimental non-lethal weapon that uses an infrared laser pulse which ablates the target's surface and creates exploding plasma, this produces an intense pressure wave that stuns the target through damaging nerves and may cause temporary paralysis. The x-PEPR can be made lethal through ramping up its power settings. Its blueprint can be obtained in research facilities on the Eadwellian Isles. The experimental model uses a deuterium-fluoride laser to generate the pulse. Its engineers called it the 'Hot Pepper' because of its acronym. Despite being referred to as a rifle, it is fairly portable and can be fired easily with one hand.
  Mugi Co. H11 DAW
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  An advanced dual-barrel airburst weapon (DAW) that fires both intermediate cartridges and 20mm explosive airburst grenades. Developed maybe one to two years before the Cataclysm, the H11 DAW was meant to be the future weapons platform for their limited armed forces, supplementing the normal grenadier in a squad with a substantial force multiplier. It comes with an advanced integrated scope that allows the user to safely fire from behind cover while still maintaining sight, by providing a camera feed to a separate heads-up display and a digital readout for ammunition. It is a highly complex weapons platform which is why it didn't see mass production. Some of its remaining prototype models and schematics can be found in the derelict Mugi Co. Blackbox Labs, located somewhere underneath the Ghosts of Hangyeojin, formerly Bukhan.
  Taraka Pistol
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A collapsible guided flechette weapon capable of bypassing armor, often laced with highly toxic paralysis venom extracted from desert creatures. This weapon has been used to assassinate Shedari leaders during Ishumari uprisings, utilizing a fly-by-wire mode, controlled by a gyroscopic accelerometer in the weapon's grip. It has a built-in display that folds out when the weapon is drawn which allows for its user to observe where the shots are landing and to spy around corners. It is exceptionally stealthy.
  Tar-Inulam Flechette Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  An extremely lightweight compressed air rifle that can launch darts or flechettes. Like the Taraka pistol, the flechettes are often laced with a toxic paralysis venom. It differentiates itself from other dart rifles for its ability to be concealed with little effort, and is a favorite among Dustwalkers.
  Kefeus iSR-95
  Rarity:Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A paraktian-designed computerized sniper rifle with a free-floating barrel and incredible accuracy. Its effective range extends well beyond half of its maximum range, and its stability enhances shots substantially. It is intended to pierce cover without consequences.
  Heat Dispersal Gun
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A short-range experimental plasma emitter that was developed shortly before the Cataclysm, replicated two years after the Dwarves developed and fired the first handheld plasma weapon. This shotgun-like device can emit a blast of plasma in a cone or a higher concentrated blast at a singular point.
  It is rare to find one with how limited its production run was. Most, of the known surface-based Shedari R&D installations were wiped out, as Mudira-Karrah's Plateau of Storms was the epicenter of most of the Karithat-Aldawi. There are a few LightDrives with these rare designs stored on them for safekeeping.
  KALI Experimental Laser System
  Rarity: Vehicular, Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The KALI is a vehicle-mounted chemlaser that can burn holes straight through armor and can intercept guided munitions. There aren't many examples of this weapon that survived the Cataclysm but they can be obtained from some research compounds and secure facilities sitting under the dunes in The Dust.
  Hukātara X-30
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  An experimental high-tech multi-barreled firearm with superimposed ammunition that can achieve a theoretical fire rate of 30,000 rounds per minute. The Hukātara X-30 was developed as part of a joint weapons program between the Tangata and their Eadwellian allies. Its name in Te Reo means hailstorm. Its development came about before the Cyclone SPR-40 PDW. This particular variant boasts greater range for its attacks and higher damage per burst but higher variance in terms of volume of fire.
  Tūmatakōkiri X-MM-01
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  An experimental high-tech weapon that propels molten metal via electromagnetic acceleration with an explosive trigger mechanism. It is designed to perforate and defeat armor, unleashing a series of secondary explosions once it has pierced the target. Its name translates from Te Reo to meteor impact. This weapon was designed after the Cataclysm and after Tangata contact with the Matae-Korae, and there are maybe five functional prototypes in existence. It has been used to hunt the G-Class monsters that terrorize the rainforests of Malabar. The advanced ferrocite rods used as ammunition require highly conductive and rare metal alloys to work, making firing this weapon a very expensive process in terms of materials usage.
  Ashigaru Labs Counter-Accelerator Crossbow
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A near-silent, devastating armor-piercing weapon that looks more like an arrangement of blocks than a crossbow with recognizable arms. The mechanism by which it accelerates has counterweights that operate seemingly against each other, and instead of using a string, the bolts are catapulted via the magnetically propelled sled closer to the interior. The sled itself carries two bolts at once. It is also substantially heavier than a normal crossbow, despite weight-saving materials used during manufacturing. The schematic for the weapon is kept in the Ashigaru Clean Labs near where the Hanjin-Utari border once was.
  Ashigaru Labs GDDX-II Pulsed Laser Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A two-piece experimental, man-portable shoulder-fired chemlaser developed in the Ashigaru Clean Laboratories alongside Mugi Co. near the border between the former nation of Bukhan and the Utari territories, the PLR, or Pulsed Laser Rifle is designed to function as an anti-aerial weapon, capable of intercepting and destroying drones, helicopters, and missiles. It is best fired while stationary. Its focusing array gimbals towards the target when stabilized, allowing it to track fast moving targets more easily. This weapon features enhanced cutting capabilities over its counterparts and its main power source is more readily available and easier to replace, but does not recharge.
  Ashigaru Labs NCOE Accelerator Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  A weapon that seemingly ignores conservation of energy through its unique payload, unleashing forces that often obliterate the target upon impact or launch the target hundreds of feet. It is a shoulder-fired weapon with a long recoil buffer that runs its length. NCOE stands for Non-Conservation Of Energy. There are only two prototypes that ever made it through initial production and went through a fully functioning test run.

  K-Labs PR-350 Plasma Ripper

  Description
  A relatively short range, one-handed, repurposed construction weapon that emits a highly energized plasma burst in a line attack. It uses Power Cells to operate its beam emitter. It was designed as a Kobold-focused companion tool to the MEC M-8220-OC Handheld Ore Cutter, allowing for the small creatures to aid in mining operations with it. K-Labs is a cooperative Kobold-only R&D team that uses licensed Morgrim Energy Concern technology and manufacturing methods.
  Zarizeni Mining Union Mag-Shot
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A relatively lightweight, compact coilgun with somewhat limited range, this 1-handed weapon can deliver magnetically-launched spikes that pierce cover and can deliver small electric jolts when activated. If there are spikes embedded in more than one target, they unleash a much more powerful chain reaction. The Zarizeni Mag-Shot is primarily used as a means to defeat large, aggressive wildlife. When combined with a Survey Spike, the Mag-Shot can be incredibly dangerous. Usually, Kobold expeditionary teams use these devices combined with Survey Drones to ensure pack safety. It was first designed after the Kobolds made contact with the Vettir at Ymir along the Verkovian Coastline. They combined knowledge obtained from prior extraction expeditions and embed Aetherion Crystal fragments in the spikes.
  Zarizeni Mining Union Survey Drone
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A handheld spherical, rolling robot with an advanced scanning suite that is capable of rolling up vertical surfaces with electrostatic adhesion and also emitting small electric shocks, these drones are occasionally creatively used to debilitate or neutralize aggressive wildlife and even intelligent threats. They are thrown, similarly to a grenade, but are generally only attracted to a laser targeting point or a Survey Spike. Usually they are sent out to survey and gather 3D maps of a cavern once they have a deployment point. If the operator is using these, they will tend to have one or both of the available targeting methods.
  Zarizeni Mining Union Survey Spike Launcher
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A piercing, longer-range high utility piece of equipment that doubles as weaponry. It launches a harpoon-like, javelin-sized survey spike via compressed air or gases. The computerized survey spike can emit a homing signal that attracts loose ferromagnetic materials or objects, and sends a command to any deployed Zarizeni Mining Union Survey Drones. The Survey Drones are spherical robots deployed by hand that roll towards the Survey Spike and activate LIDAR scanning systems and a spectrophotographic suite to identify rare deposits of materials. Survey Drones can also emit a small electric shock to ward off creatures that try to eat them, stunning them in the process.

  Tau Nui Drone Launcher Model H-106

  Description
  An exotic drone launcher that deploys multiple swarms of robotic suspensor-lifted, high speed, disc-shaped drones that can be issued commands for non-lethal or lethal attacks from the drone launcher itself. Each drone swarm has the potential to stun a target, but must return to the drone launcher after doing so. The drone launcher has a replaceable power cell but all drones are deployed at once at the same time, and the power cell must be replaced to recharge them for another deployment.
  Whātitiri Shockwave Gun Model S-5
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  A rotary-action, nonlethal shockwave gun that emits a thunderous blast of energy, capable of knocking enemies and objects back. It can displace objects with tremendous force. It is capable of charging over the course of a few seconds, with the output being greater than the sum of its individual shots. The weapon is named after the Tangata goddess of thunder, Whātitiri (Phah-tee-tee-ree), for its sheer power. It utilizes an integrated power cell which passively recharges over time, but has a mechanism by which the user can rotate the whole front assembly to recharge it on the fly.

Orcish Weapons



  Arm-Cit RG-134-MP
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  This man-portable rotary gun was designed initially for use as a gun emplacement on vehicles, but by switching to an intermediate cartridge shared with the Morgan Arms A-15, it was discovered shortly afterwards, that during testing it could be fired from a standing position. Its key advantage over other squad automatic weapons is its sheer volume of fire that it can unload and the duration of the bursts it can sustain without warping the barrels. The six barrels are air-cooled and are powered by a dieselectric motor. Its main disadvantage when compared to other squad automatic weapons is its relatively short range, however it more than makes up for it by being able to shred cover.
  Arm-Cit SLAP-IR-8mm
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  Designed around the standards of Verdoyant and Orcish infantry strength, this bullpup-configured infantry rifle fires an 8mm sabot-launched armor-piercing round, and can be fired fairly easily from the shoulder if strength is sufficient. To compensate for the otherwise insane recoil, the weapon has a very long recoil buffer that causes the whole barrel assembly to retract into the furniture when firing. Its bespoke muzzle brake and barrel configuration also prevent it from utilizing suppressors.
  Arm-Cit SMAK-ID-20mm
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A Shoulder-Mounted Autocannon, Kinetic, infantry-deployed 20mm weapons system, the SMAK is one of the rare examples of an anti-armor, semi-automatic 20mm cannon being deployed by infantry. It utilizes a smart anti-tank round which can be programmed to burst in the air or detonate via proximity thanks to its computerized target acquisition system. Because of its bulk, it generally has to be fired from a stable position to fire more than one shot, but some are able to overcome this prohibitively intense design through sheer strength. It also helps that the whole gun itself is practically built as a recoil buffer system. It has a 10-round detachable box magazine that feeds from the top of the weapon.

Reng Shue Weapons



  Da Jinshu Industries - 大金属 - YMQ-38 铀铆钉枪-38 Depleted Uranium Spike Driver
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  The YMQ-38 is one of the few fully kinetic examples of Reng Shue firearms. It is effectively designed as an anti-tank weapon that launches a fin stabilized discarding sabot cartridge, which launches depleted uranium spikes roughly 15mm in diameter and 10cm long. Much like most recoilless rifles, fires from an over-the-shoulder position, but functions similarly to an autocannon in its feeding mechanism. Upon impact, the spike disintegrates into uranium dust which can easily ignite thanks to its pyrophoric properties. Working the uranium into usable spikes is a difficult process. This heavy weapon is especially dangerous versus anything flammable.
  Da Jinshu Industries - 大金属 - HB-137 化学爆炸-137 Reactive Canister Launcher
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  An exotic, repeating caesium-canister launcher of sorts where the medium separating the caesium from fluorine breaks upon impact, creating an explosion. Caesium, being a byproduct of U-235 fission, is more readily available to the Reng Shue, who also mine fluorspar for its fluorine contents, which is used for uranium enrichment processes.
  Dao Broadsword
  Rarity: Uncommon
  Description
  A single-edged curved blade , the dao is capable of inflicting more grievous bleeding wounds than its Western counterpart and has an indent that runs the length of the blade where poisons can be pocketed for multiple strikes with the weapon.
  Fei Chang Dynamics - 非常 ES-89 - 厄运射线-89 Energetic Man-Portable Ionizing Radiation Expulsion System
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  A terrifying weapon that has an ionizing radiation emitter on one end and a disturbing amount of power cells on the other, the ES-89 (Èyùn Shèxiàn, Model 89), otherwise dubbed EMPIRES is a scaled up, linear particle accelerator which bombards a target in ionized, radioactive particles. After enough time on target, the bombardment of particles heats the target up to the point that it will catch on fire or melt, dependent on composition.
  It also has the knock-on effect of disabling or interfering with electronics. Any targets within the immediate vicinity of the primary target are also subject to its horrifying effects. As if that wasn't awful enough, the ES-89's ionizing radiation inflicts radiation sickness and radiation burns.
  This weapon was in its experimental stages prior to the Cataclysm and a few functional prototypes have been found in the hands of a select few Reng Shue sand pirate leaders, who at this point are likely covered in tumors.
  Fei Chang Dynamics - 非常 LSP-40 - 离子束炮-40 Electromagnetic Pulse Cannon
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Fei Chang Dynamics LSP-40 is designed with more utilitarian purposes in mind, despite it being the cousin to the deadly ES-89. It is built to disable electronics and other magnetically-sensitive equipment through emitting a plasma beam via a linear particle accelerator, but it is much more short range as a consequence of using larger particles that it charges with EM radiation. It is one of the few instances where plasma weaponry was developed outside of dwarven engineering labs and without their oversight.

Taekataen Weapons



  Pun-Khem T-49 Chem-Dart Binary Rifle - ปืนเข็ม
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  A dart-based acid delivery system designed for stealth purposes. The weapon is integrally suppressed and uses two very long barrels. The length is to ensure gas compression allows for high velocities, but subsonic delivery. It boasts longer range than other dart rifles and is sometimes used to deliver drugs or other sedatives. One combination of ammunition that can be delivered is a pair of chemical darts that can cause an intravenous explosion when both chemicals enter the bloodstream and come into contact with one another. It's a nasty method of assassination.

Tenok Weapons



  Korlash Type K-11-L Molten Metal Launcher
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Type K-11-L, as designated by outsiders, uses a sort of magnetic flux compression generator cartridge that contains a highly conductive metal material, utilizing a magnetic field inside the chamber to launch and deform metal into a shaped projectile, capable of defeating armor, explosively. In other words, it uses a single-use magnetic device to warp metal into high speed death. It is substantially more focused than a rocket launcher in its purpose, but it will tear a path clean through whatever it is shot at. It makes a very loud, low frequency rumbling noise before it launches, ramping up with intensity before it's fired. While it may be seen in other Tenok tribe's armaments, it is most commonly found in the Korlash's hands.
  Kroldir Type 1-K TELG Rifle
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The Kroldir tribe employs this high velocity rifle that uses pelletized ammonia as a propellant inside pressurized cartridges and catalyzes it through an arc circuit in its firing chamber, allowing it to reach extraordinary speeds that surpass even the Vettir's Mag-Driver weaponry. There is a slight delay as its pressure builds before it fires. Once fired, it is extraordinarily difficult to locate the shooter if they have relocated. Often used in ambushes by the Kroldir Tenok as a sort of super-powered anti-materiel weapon. It is complete overkill for anything that isn't wearing armor. The speeds that it reaches are upwards of 5 km/s, which is incredible for how portable the weapon is. This does come at a cost to its usability though. Each cartridge is built similarly to a Voitenko compressor from Earth, effectively being a self-contained shaped charge. The projectile itself is tiny but has a shearing effect with less-dense materials around the tungsten alloy penetrator core being designed to break off and create shrapnel.
  Kroldir Type 2-K TELG Handgun
  Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
  Description
  The Kroldir tribe built a more portable design based on their miniaturization of the thermo-electric light gas gun technology. Its range and accuracy are slightly reduced but the weapon's appearance feels like it is too large to be classified as a handgun. The Tenok do not care. To them, it is a handgun and is wielded with one hand. It can still slice off someone's arm with a single shot.
  Tzarok Type 3-K TELG Cannon
  Rarity: Vehicular, Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Tzarok love to have the biggest weapon on the field. The Type 3-T TELG Cannon is the Tzarok tribe's answer to the Kroldir equipment. It is often found mounted on vehicles, though, and usually requires two operators to be at its maximum efficiency.
  Tzarok Type 24-T Death-Jaw Cutter
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Tzarok wanted to outdo the ferocity of their rival tribes, so they designed the Death-Jaw Cutter (as it is translated to common). It is like a giant pneumatic bolt cutter but fast and lethal, with high torque for how quickly it moves. It is capable of bisecting a medium target. Some modifications also superheat the metal blades.
  Velkash Type 66-V Thermal Ripper Saw
  Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
  Description
  A weapon that induces mechanical stress and cauterizes flesh at the same time, this weapon emits high velocity plasma from a rotating jet, from which the emitted plasma is guided in a sort of magnetic field. The weapon can be used in one hand or two hands, which to most, resembles a chainsaw. Its high operational complexity make it a bit of a wonder as to why the Tenok would even make such a thing, but it is a very cruel weapon when used against their victims, melting and searing the flesh. It is also used in salvage operations.
  Velkash Type 29-V Molten Metal Shredder-Repeater
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  The Velkash tribe employs the 29-V Shredder-Repeater as their mid-range weapon. It uses magnetic acceleration and an electrothermal arc to heat up and morph the highly conductive metal spikes into a desired shape and can fire a lot of these spikes in quick succession. The weapon, like the Drakaan Compressor weapons, can pin enemies to walls, but it also burns them in the process. Similar to the 7-V, it uses superimposed ammunition in a cylinder-style magazine, but uses a rapid-fire solenoid to launch them into the magnetic tube. There are two barrels on the weapon which alternate as it fires.
  Velkash Type 7-V Molten Metal Dispersal Cannon
  Rarity: Exotic, Rare
  Description
  A multi-barreled magnetic launch weapon that fires highly conductive and molten material, the Type 7-V is employed as a close-quarters weapon that frequently pins enemies to walls. It uses superimposed ammunition boxes which are then clamped in a magnetic launch system, and carries roughly 6 shots per magazine. The weapon heats up the material to a molten state when it fires, improving its hydrodynamic capabilities. Each projectile has the potential to pin an opponent to a wall and perforate them. The weapon can activate a fire mode where it expends its entire magazine, but will only work if the magazine is full.

Tiefling Weapons



  Morgan Arms M3 Flamethrower
  Rarity: Exotic, Common
  Description
  A weapon that was used in the latter half of The Great War and used during proxy skirmishes in the Saghira conflicts, the Morgan Arms M3 was officially internationally outlawed but still saw use on the islands. It has a fuel tank, compressor, fuel nozzle, and a tube connecting it to a pair of fuel tanks on the back with an electric ignition system. It is primarily used against fortifications, both choking out the oxygen in an environment very quickly and also igniting anything present. There had been a few instances of ammunition inside bunkers cooking off and erratically firing rounds in all directions, ricocheting inside the bunker. It is also dangerous to the operator, so in conflicts, they were infrequently used.

      Auric Disruptor Gun
      Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
      Description
      A directed energy weapon that rips things apart, the Auric Disruptor gun is capable of disintegrating body parts or materials. Effectively, it disrupts molecular bonds through application of electromagnetic force packets. The amount of energy required to disrupt large amounts of matter, say, the size of a human in a single volley, is more than can be put out by a man-portable weapon, but destroying limbs and torsos of individuals is much more attainable with a portable weapon such as this. The weapon itself must have a stabilizing coherency field while it is active otherwise it poses a grave threat to its operator.

      Auric Disruptor Handgun
      Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
      Description
      A miniaturized version of the Auric Disruptor Gun, the Auric Disruptor Handgun is a revolver-style weapon that uses exotic materials to fire a bright blue disruptive beam using electromagnetic force packets. The weapon is capable of disintegrating body parts and objects that it hits, leaving a fine glowing dust where there once was solid matter. These weapons require a coherence field to be maintained, otherwise harm may come to the operator. The beam itself interferes with chaos particulate flow as a consequence of being a disruptor weapon and can temporarily disable magecraft equipment.

      Chem-Cartridge Mag Launcher
      Rarity: Exotic, Rare
      Description
      A weapon that can magnetically launch explosive chemical cartridges substantially further than other pneumatic launchers through utilizing a magnetic catapult system. It can deploy Acidic, Chemfreeze, Gaseous Drug Dispersal, Incendiary, and Voltaic cartridges. The weapon utilizes a combinatorial catalyst system to alter the effects of the Multi-Chem Cartridge when firing, modifying the chemical payload of the chosen device instantaneously. The Multi-Chem cartridge itself has several different reactants stored in its internal chambers, which when mixed in different combinations, create different effects.

      Rarity: Exotic, Common
      Description
      This coil-type handgun was designed as a more portable, easier-to-assemble, lightweight counterpart to the CG-20-R. The CH-3 was built with a linear induction coil that uses magnetic forces to propel projectiles up to hypersonic speeds, but does not utilize the advanced CNT capacitors found in other Vettir weapons, making copies of this weapon more readily available to frontiersmen and the Tarzh Vettir. The ammunition is exceptionally inexpensive to make, but the downside is that the individual shots do not have much stopping power. It still offers the ability to bypass cover and pierce multiple targets.

      Coilgun Repeater CG-20-R
      Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
      Description
      The CG-20-R is a rapid-fire, high velocity weapon that rips straight through most opponents. The CG-20-R is largely based on the same principle as the mag-driver weapons, though it uses a magnetic coil instead of lorentz forces to accelerate its projectiles. The projectiles do reach hypersonic speeds like mag-driver weaponry, albeit at lower velocities with a higher volume of fire. This weapon ignores cover, and sacrifices overall projectile impact as a result.

      Heavy Rotary Coilgun R-CG-8
      Rarity: Exotic, Rare
      Description
      Typically mounted on vehicles, this coilgun uses three barrels to alleviate heat buildup in the capacitors and the barrels themselves, reducing wear and tear while firing for sustained periods of time. If an individual is strong enough, they can carry it. One of the mods for the weapon applies a projected energy shield based on reverse-engineered Matae-Korae Hardlight tech, protecting the user while maintaining visibility.

      Mag-Driver Rifle MDR-12
      Rarity: Exotic, Uncommon
      Description
      The Mag-Driver Rifle uses Lorentz forces to electromagnetically accelerate a ferromagnetic projectile up to hypersonic speeds in a linear induction barrel. This weapon is capable of firing through cover, and fires at such a speed that it also ignores armor. It's a fearsome weapon but because of the shape of the projectile, it also doesn't inflict particularly large wounds, instead piercing a target. This weapon is capable of piercing total cover and up to 2 medium-sized targets, dealing reduced damage to the second target. The weapon uses compact CNT capacitors to reduce weight, but most of the mass is distributed along the barrel.

      Mag-Driver Sniper MDS-9
      Rarity: Exotic, Rare
      Description
      The Mag-Driver Sniper is a highly specialized perforator that, like the MD (Mag-Driver) Rifle, uses Lorentz forces to electromagnetically accelerate a ferromagnetic projectile. It is functionally an anti-materiel rifle in purpose, but has several properties which make it that much more potent in terms of disabling enemy vehicles. When used against personnel, it has a propensity to rip pieces clean off.

      Particle Arrestor Beam
      Rarity: Exotic, Very Rare
      Description
      Referred to sometimes as the 'Freeze Ray' the particle arrestor beam uses a closely-guarded design which allows the device to place matter in stasis through near-instantaneous cooling to temperatures well below freezing. This is both a weapon and a tool, as some materials' safe handling is dependent on them being supercooled. It is capable of freezing targets in their tracks from a relatively safe distance. It also utilizes a shockwave pulse emitter that can crack ice or break other brittle objects. Fluid substances like water freeze much more quickly when the Particle Arrestor Beam is applied to them as it has surface penetration when a material is translucent or semi-translucent.
