From the Village Vault Collection
We are excited to share our first published hardcover book!
Over the last year, Chuck and I (Drew) created a bunch of one page adventures in our From the Village Vault Series. For this release we revisited all of them. We improved the writing, margins, layout, reference pages, and updated all supporting material. Now, along with the pages available here on the website, everything should be easier to run at the table.
I have held softcover magazines and comics that I have written and laid out before, but this is different. Holding the hardcover book had a sense of weight and completion that surprised me. I expected it to feel good, but I did not expect it to fulfill me in a way I needed but didn't know. With so many projects always in in the fire, seeing one fully forged and finished landed harder than I thought it would. It is something new and something I had not made before.
The first From the Village Vault Collection gathers all of our adventures into a single volume. They are standalone, easy to prep, and built for busy GMs who want flexible content they can drop into an ongoing campaign or use as a starting point for something larger.
The cover art was illustrated by Yury Nikifarau, with coloring by Drew Whitney. VODs are available showing the drawing process for those interested in the behind the scenes work.
The hardcover and PDF editions are available now at DriveThruRPG.
