Tail Weight

An item used by individuals affected with Tasot, usually consisting of a simple strap or rope that has one end wrapped around a rock. It is meant to weigh the tail down to prevent it from disturbing anyone while the affected tries to sleep. How successful this is depends on the severity of the condition and if the weight used is adequate for the task. If the rock used is not heavy enough, or the tail is particularly strong, there's a risk the weight gets turned into a flail and potentially causing injury to more than just the affected.
It is often easy to tell if someone uses a tail weight at night, as the part of their tail it is attached to is often red and raw, sometimes scarred, from use.
