Thirsty Mimic
This small and dilapidated tavern is owned by a woodworker who has a special love for macabre humor. After passing his woodworking business on to his two daughers, Jontan built himself a place to hang out in his twilight years. Though he’s never seen a mimic, he’s always had an interest in the strange monster. Thus, there are a few different pieces of wood furniture carved to look like a hungry mimic about to bite his customers.
The end of the bar has a large, jagged-toothed mouth and long tongue carved to look like it’s trying to eat whoever sits there. The tables are all made from wooden barrels with circular wood added for a tabletop. Four of the twelve tables have some form of face looking hungrily around the room.
Jontan even has a wooden mug carved to look like the cup is biting the hand that hold it. The tavern is never very busy, but Jontan and his closest friends can always be found at the back table drinking and sharing stories they only partly remember.
