Dizzy's Cellars

Dizzy is a rock gnome. His real name is long and difficult to pronounce. He is the owner of the popular travelers’ rest, Dizzy’s Cellars. The Inn is a two-story building built into the side of a hill. The outside is unremarkable. The Upper floors are about the same as you’d expect in any other Inn. What makes Dizzy’s Cellars unique is the main tavern. The back of the tavern connects to a series of nine caves which all act as an extension of the dining room. The caves are clean and dry. The rock in the hills are hard stone, which allows for polished, smooth floors. The cave walls are carved out, but still are still rough stone. Dizzy has created each one of these rooms to have different themes. 1. Explorer’s Room – This room is decorated with lots of maps, compasses, sextants, and pictures of foreign animals 2. Hunter’s Room – This room is decorated with fur rugs, stuffed birds, and spears 3. Heraldry Room – This room is adorned with a number of long-forgotten flags and family crests from around the continent 4. Mariner’s Room – This room is decorated with nets, wooden fish, buoys, and fishing rods 5. Architect’s Room – The Architects room looks unfinished. The walls are built out to different levels and using different materials to show the construction process. It also features building plans and tools. 6. Scribe’s Room – This room’s walls are entirely coated in parchment and features a hand-written epic tale. From a distance, it looks like little more than a rough texture. Upon closer inspection, it’s a tale of two men competing for the love of a princess. 7. Astronomer’s Room – This room has the winter sky painted all over it and adorned with small crystals. A single desk on a wall holds maps and star charts with stories of the gods Selune and Shar 8. Alchemist’s Room – This room is laden with beakers and copper and glass piping. One wall is almost-entirely covered with a complicated distillation system. Close inspection reveals that the system would never function, but it looks really cool. 9. Piano Room – This room features two upright pianos. Dizzy loves it when customers play and will hang out near the room or in the room if the customers would let him.
