— Kite's attempt at a scribble

The authors of these encyclopaedia entries are known as Kite and Grapple. They are two curious divers who go into the machine and bring interesting knowledge to the Husk. While they are happy to talk about anything, their current topic of interest are the Scribbles written on the walls of the machine.

Kite

Kite is the primary author of the encyclopaedia. Her favourite thing to do (apart from dive into the machine, of course!) is to spend time creating scribbles and stories to entertain herself and anyone who will listen.

Grapple

Grapple is the secondary author of this encyclopaedia. When he is not exploring the inside of the machine, he likes to explore the Husk and discover new places to put in his notebook.

Goals

With each entry from encyclopaedia, the authors hope to share their knowledge with as many people as possible. Entries will published in the newspapers as they are written. Hopefully, they will be collected in book form at the end of the year for easy reading.

Their focus for this year will be on the elusive scribbles that are found nearly everywhere around the machine. Despite being found everywhere, and being translated by the government, people are still none the wiser on what they are. The authors aim to inform the people about these scribbles in a digestible format.

Disclaimer

However, to be clear, they will not be translating any new scribbles found in the machine. If anyone finds any new ones, the government recommends to find the nearest local authority and hand them over. It is illegal to translate any scribbles without a permit from the government.

The authors do not endorse any actions that go against the wishes of the government.

The best way to contact the authors is to send a letter to the address detailed in the city of Deshel. You may send questions or comments - the authors promise to read them all. Some comments may be published in the next chapter, and some questions may be answered there too.

In terms of comments, the authors' only request is to refrain from sending material that can be considered offensive to the government. Please do not try to get around this. Offensive comments will not be answered publicly.
