Material Characteristics

Its appearance is varied but it usually looks like brass that can sometimes have a silver or purple tinge. The metal is very heat Conductive, meaning that when it is room temperature it feels very cold like steel.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Zenium is a very heat conductive metal. It can also absorb a large amount of heat. The metal is unbelievably strong just one foot of it could withstand a twenty five megaton blast one thousand feet away. It is nearly impossible to tear. Depending on how it was treated it can bend as much as a dried wood branch or as little as steel. To melt it you would need to bring it up to seven thousand degrees and to boil it you would have to get it up to twelve thousand degrees. It is not at all chemically reactive to most species ingesting it is somewhat like eating lead. But for the Zenium species it is as necessary to their health as vitamins are to humans.

It is found in many forms all isotopes of Zenium. There is crystal zenium, rock zenium, rubber zenium, shatter zenium and many many more.

Geology & Geography

Zenium is found all throughout the universe in very small quantity's. On earth there is probably only enough to fill a five meter cube. However there are twenty five thousand planets that contain ridiculously high amounts of it. Each of these planets have enough zenium to build one hundred thousand mid sized ships. This is not however all accessible two thirds of it are on planets teaming with unique and extraordinary life. A third of that zenium is so deep underground that you would need to mine the entire planet to get at it. The process used to mine it is so bad for the environment that it can turn a basically lifeless planet into a completely lifeless hellscape in a matter of years. There is another method of extraction that is not nearly as bad but it takes twice as long and you lose half of what you mined.

Origin & Source

Zenium can be found both equally in native and ore forms. There are two ores that zenium can be found in miantia ore which is gold and silver colored, and fire gem ore which looks like a ruby that glows a deep red with orange flecks inside that glow a bright orange or red.

It has an extraordinary life in the trillions of years. it does not rust or react with other chemicals.
