Land Blasters

The Land Blasters is loosely organized in the same way a pirate fleet is—a single overall leader and a number of crews, each commanded by a captain. However, while they are still ocean faring, their purpose is no longer piracy. Instead, their primary goal is to find the Great Golden Gates.
This organization was formed when their current leader (a geomancer) split from the Black Beauties after he found a strong magic focus in open water. He felt this would be a possible location of the Great Gold Gates and set about raising islands to inhabit. While the Gates weren't to be found, he created a small society, which came to be known as the Land Blasters.
Over the course of the last several years, they've become a strange mix of clan, cult, and pirate. They are semi-self-sufficient, growing most of their food and creating their water on the ring of islands they call home. The unusually high number of hydromancers and geomancers ensure they have a steady supply of water and that they can add more land if they need to.
