Funerals in Rakai, are casual events, sometimes they are parties sometimes they are somber occurrences but they are inevitable us the people that are still alive that are there too witness the process take it in stride they are there to enjoy to remember to celebrate the life that has moved on where to who knows to whatever gods does it matter burial process my differ from gone to God to agnostic faith yet the celebration that surrounds it or the process is generally the same.

In this process evolution the funeral became more akin to a party. The funeral was assembly seen as their last birthday the time for all the people that knew or cared about that person together one last time in a way to celebrate the life that they had lead and the future that everyone could share together in.

In general the body is immolated in a fire of Faith or magic. this fire is all consuming and is generally without smell. The once the body is set instead of blaze the guests are able to mingle to discuss to drink with good friends and and great company the party last as long as the body is a blaze and those that wish to share some memories or able to cast their memories into the fire in a scented and astral projection of these memories is available to all those present within the ceremony.in this way the funeral takes on a life of its own it is a source of great storytelling of of mystery in a sense almost like a small play where you see various bits and pieces of this person's life the true highlights of their life play out before a large crowd or small crowd depending on the person.

Religious or agnostic fire is used to burn the body. Magic such as illusion or enchantment to create the astral projection.
