May Recap
May has already passed and here I am, trying to think about what I have written during this month. Looking at the list of articles I came up with, I am even more eager to return to the routine of daily writing. Because the list for May is rather short, which has three reasons:
The first point is totally on me and I really regret it. I am not sure, if the second point was even worth it, but you can judge that for yourself. I was able to make the article flip between the map on the front and the actual text on the back. It has been written explicitly for students of Nebelfels and all artwork was done by myself. I am very proud of the borders around the festivals and that I was able to include the little drawings there. The style of the map might remind some of you of the way you get village maps from Watabou, but rest assured I have drawn all of it by hand. Not even the layout was generated by the program. Overall, I learned quite a lot of CSS duing this article, like :after and :before pseudo elements. Maybe this will come in handy at a later point. Also, this article should come in handy for the campaigns I want to play in Nebelfels one day, because it basically has the information my players will need, without giving away anything their characters should not know. But feel free to write a comment on what you think of it:
I was also writing a new character for Mirintha, based on a beloved member of the community. This article is about a Kadal, who is fascinated, if not even obsessed with dragons. And therefore, even if he could have a big career as a musician, he followed his dreams and became a well renowned draconologist. Enjoy reading about Ste'check Venul.
And obviously I started the Summer Camp 2026 prep article, which I will continue writing over the next four weeks. If you want, you can already check it out, or you can wait until everything is finished. I will surely link the article in the June recap as well.
As I wrote earlier, I also worked on the world map of Mirintha. I've finally found a pen in Procreate that I like well enough to use to draw the map in a way that I'm happy with. But of course it will still take some time to finish it, so I will not share the progress I made from April to May. You can take a look at the old version in the April recap article. And on that terrible disappointment I will return on writing some stuff, so hopefully by the end of the month I can share more then the sorry excuse of two articles.
- I was not writing at least 100 words per day
- I took me a lot of time to style my hitchhikers guide article and get the art done.
- I was working on the world map of Mirintha again

Noo, no "sorry excuses"; sometimes it just be like that! The hitchhikers guide also took a lot of formatting for me, too; I was hoping to get to more things in May. The map is great, and it's a fantastic article! And I love the character you created, I'm honored <3

Summer Camp 2026 Prep
I loved writing it, I listend to your music several times now, and it also was really easy because I was able to find out quite some things about you, so I am happy that you like the article so much. I am currently making the map a real map on WA, as I will of course need it later on for the campaigns.
