The Ouroboric Faith

The Ouroboric Faith centers on the reverence of Ouroboros, an Outer God who embodies the eternal cycle of death and rebirth, of chaos giving way to order, and order inevitably crumbling back into chaos. This deity is symbolized by the Ouroboros—a serpent devouring its own tail, representing the endless, inescapable process of renewal and decay. The Focus of the Ouroboric Faith is to understand that the outer gods AO and IO made order and chaos to live in balance since one can not truly be without the other. This has led to many misunderstanding what the ouroboric faith is seeing it as the middle grow where you can have both order and chaos but that is not entirely true.

they must exist in a cycle. To commit to chaos means you must return to order and to commit to order means you must cause chaos. You can not pick and choose which best fits the event you must cycle through both in a flow state. Many who flee either cult of chaos or order soon find themselves visited by a true follower of ouroboros and they help to better understand the true purpose of chaos and order. It is to make use whole and understand our place within the machine of the universe.

Tenets of Ouroboric faith:

1) Balance in cycles is the goal

2) To indulge in one means you must indulge the other

3) To shun one mean to shun the other

4) To form a cycle the constant must be broken and reforge

5) Flow must be perfect

Prayer:

The Law of Reciprocity-"The hand that plants the seed must eventually swing the scythe."

The Sin of Stasis-"To hold a breath is to invite a rot."

The Tithe of the Tail-"Feed the Serpent so the Serpent may feed the World."

The Clarity of the Void-"Between the exhale and the inhale lies the truth."

The Mandate of the Weave-"Be the needle, not the thread."
