SCOUT

Search, cultivate, outcome, unique, teach aka SCOUT. What is a SCOUT? Well SCOUT is a type of traveling mentor. A SCOUT’s goals are to search out those who are willing or show strong talent in their area of specialty. Then cultivate the talents and skills. The outcome is that there are more prepared young to continue on the skills and lessons from the older generations. Many SCOUTs encourage different ways to do things as long as they are legal. Lastly SCOUTs teach and pass on what they have learned. SCOUTs wander all over Jiazera searching for these older children, teens and young adults that they can help.

Once they have found an older child, teen, or young adult they will spend the next 2 to 10 years watching over them, teaching and cultivating their talents. There are many different SCOUTS. They also work differently. The SCOUTs that work with those going into politics, or dealing with the elites normally only take on one apprentice at a time. These SCOUT also are exclusively found in Jaka the city that the global government resides in. Other SCOUTs such as ones that do marital arts, magic, prep for select jobs, and wilderness survival work with many apprentices at a time, depending on where they are and what they are developing.

With the exception of the political, SCOUTs travel all over Jiazera. Some SCOUTs will stay in a general area. They will stay in a place once they found an apprentice or many and teach until they are all taught then they will move on. There is even a SCOUT that teaches how to become a SCOUT.

How does a SCOUT find their next apprentice or apprentices? In Jaka many elite and high class parents try to find a SCOUT for their children. This also happens other places parents look for a SCOUT for the children. However, there are some that refuse to do it that way. They instead look at schools and just wander the more remote areas finding those to teach.

The pay also depends on what the SCOUT offers. Many of those that make the most do live in Jaka. However, there are ones that wander that make just as much if not more. So it just depends.
