Based on a high-gravity world on the borders of the Imperium Kentaurii, the Cherryhand Commune is a former colony of the Imperium Kentaurii, primarily populated by Halflings. The population of working class halflings revolted against the ruling human nobles and seceded from the Imperium.
The Commune's main exports are cherry based alcoholic drinks and communism.

History

The Cherryhand Commune was formed only recently. Fed up by the constant exploitation and rampant speciesism by the ruling Humans of the Imperium Kentaurii, the working classes banded together in glorious revolution and overthrew those tall bastards.
The Imperium hasn't yet mobilized forces against the Commune. The Imperator himself has stated publicly that the nobles in question were "annoying" and "had it coming". However, the extensive network of ground-to-orbit defense installations probably has had something to do with this.
The final straw was: A visiting monk attending a party spurring on a mob of human nobles.

Demography and Population

The Commune is primarily composed of Halflings, with a small percentage of Dwarves and smaller still percentage of Kobaldts .

Foreign Relations

The Commune hates almost every other race in the galaxy for being tall. Meanwhile, the Dwarves are considered good friends due to their short statures and fondness of drinking. The Commune as a whole is indifferent towards Kobaldts.
