Iulianus first came to the attention of the Kentauril Governor after his mercenary band wiped out a small rebel force in the outer fringes of the α Centauri system. Iulianus was quickly adopted into the Governor's family at the age of 21 and was instantly named as heir apparent, becoming Governor a year later upon the death of his predecessor.
The Senatus Pubulusque Solarii took notice of the young Governor, and swiftly named him as Quaestor.
