"Festival of the Orbiters"

Also known as the penultimate family appreciation observance. Though family has a different meaning on Arkadia than it did on Tellus.

It is the final observance of the Aer Suri cycle and of the final moments before the end of the Aeon, when the planet begins a new cycle. Back on Tellus, it was known as a 'day', but that same measurement on Arkadia is almost 180 times longer.

This holiday is dedicated to Tiv, the Goddess of Luna, but not just her- all visible moons are honored on this day. That is why this festival is known as "Festival of the Orbiters". It is the one time where the heads of the families bestow appreciation and homage to their fellow kin. It is something everyone looks forward to, symbolically for the end and beginning of a new cycle, materially for the free food and gifts, emotionally for the romantic undertones that comes with mixers and networking.

The observance of Tivalia takes place during the following time period:

Aer Suri - The second setting Sun, the Dark Cycle. Although much of Penumbria has an artificial atmosphere and daylight, for the last observance of Aer Suri it is dimmed to reflect the Aphelion. Special limits are put on transit routes and enforcer surveillance is heightened, but the seemingly perpetual twilight is a grounding reminder of surviving another aeon on Arkadia.

Resonance 2 : Vendangia "Grape Harvest" - This month serves as the final harvest before the new aeon, also marking the return from the Aphelion. A harvest festival is held in the first half in honor of the God Phersu : whose satellite is possibly the furthest visible from Arkadia, creating a parallel between him and Tiv, who is the closest.

It seems at one point they tried pretending it was Tellus and used that timekeeping. I think it was on Typhon.

Observance of Tiv : The second observance of Vendangia, and fourth and final of Aer Suri. It follows the Observance of Phersu, who is the God of many things, but including entropy, mankind, strife, tests, and self-sovereignty. During Phersu, it is usually a stressful time as often that is when people's sponsorships expire or there are "friend cuts", which is somewhat like getting fired from both your job and your social circle.

Tiv's festival of Tivalia, therefore, also has an element of charity to it. Sponsorships don't usually open up during this time, but families will hold mixers and parties in order to raise money for the grain dole, food banks, and other charitable organizations who take care of unsponsored folks. The Sisters of Bacco are heavily involved in this, as is the Penumbrian Arkadian Ministries.
