The Dead Sea
What is it?
The Dead Sea is one of the Zones of Apolis, and is the home of The Void Hollowed.
What does it look like?
The Dead Sea is an approximately 116,000 square mile Zone that takes the form of a massive, dead city that stretches the entirety of the Zone. It is largely shaded in tones of black, gray, and purple, and the sky is completely black, holding nothing but a purple sun dotted with black spots dimly illuminating the Zone. The sun does not move, and there is no moon.
The City itself is sprawling, taking up the entirety of the Zone, with no breaks in the seemingly infinite city blocks. What ground isn't concrete or stone, is made up of a grainy sand like substance that is completely black.
The buildings within the city are many, with black and gray stone making up everything but most of them are either empty or inhabited by Void Hollowed.
Most of them.
Some buildings within the Dead Sea aren't completely empty. In some occasions there are mostly decayed scraps of documentation or advertisements, in other cases odd pieces of technology that still have yet to be fully understood, and rarely, one will find a weapon that was crafted by the natives of the city that once lived.
The Dead Sea holds an average danger rating compared to the other Zones within Apolis.
