Zuthmari

In the beginning, when God was creating his first children, there were a pair of twins. They were powerful even by the standards of gods, supposedly second and third only to God himself. Zolmov and Zuthmari, day and night. When Zolmov rebelled against God, his sister Zuthmari sided with him. But while Zolmov cared about the sentient life that had come after himself, Zuthmari felt no love for the humanoids, and actively enjoyed causing them misery. She was the god of storms, the night, and leviathans, but she acted as a deity of aberrations as well. She fed on the fear of humans and birthed monsters into the world. Eventually, even Zolmov, though they were twins and he cared for her, saw that she was beyond reason, driven to madness by her children and drunk on power that was beginning to approach the level of God. Together Zolmov and the other gods sealed her away and threw her into the sky where she couldn't use the sea or storms to escape. She is imprisoned to this day in the moon. But now she is stirring, gathering followers so that one day she can crack the moon and escape to bring endless night and horrors.
