Smokestack Island
The center of this island is a massive volcano, soaring above the tree line. A ring of trees cluster around it, farthest from the shores. Hills and grasslands surround the forest, and most of the shoreline is beach. The volcano has been smoking for the last 40 years but hasn't erupted in over a century.
The island is inhabited by halflings who mostly fish the shoreline and gnomes found in the forest. The Sumarrian Empire attempted a military campaign on the island but it has since been cancelled. Smokestack Island was commonly a meeting place for the various peoples of the sea and it has become a rallying cry. Many of those who wished to see Sumarrian aggression cease in the area came together to defend it. Some of the trees in the area are sunset berries. So far the value of the forest stopped the sumarrians from utilizing the Hellfire Technique and the prolonged military campaign was ended by Washizu when he decided to end the Shattered Sea Campaign and focus solely on the Dwarves.

Ecosystem
The plains of the island have roaming flocks of axe beaks and a few wild boar. The forests have packs of dire wolves and a few owlbears.
