House Arkenheim

This is a well known magical family with an affinity for sun and fire based magic. The family residence is in the royal capital. They are oftentimes professors at the mage academy, and throughout history many times the family has had members make it to the rank of silver mage. The Arkenheim family has a secret spell passed down through the family. Alongside a railgun, they can use this spell and mythril to fire a beam of sunlight as a projectile. This railgun is mounted at the royal capital wall facing the ocean. After it is fired the mythril is drained of all color and magical property to the point of becoming a new anti magic metal that is pure black and matte. This is a rare and new element called Solisun.
