High Lord
High Lord is a Zirdian title indicating that you are the head of a Noble and Most Ancient House and therefore have a place on the Zirdian High Council. Typically the title is passed to the oldest son, though some noble lines have other succession methods that have been ruled acceptable by the Zirdian High Council.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Only by a unanimous vote of the High Council of Zirdy may a High Lord be removed, in which case his successor takes his spot.
