While the dwarven language has evolved a lot there are key phrases that go back so far and have such cultural significance as to remain unchanged. These old dwarven phrases are from the heart of the ancient dwarven language, their literal translation is often crude but carries additional meaning in the context of their culture.

• Nigh, Future or coming, adding Nigh in front of any title implies that they will one day be that thing. Nigh-krieger are what the recruits are called before they are elevated to Krieger.

Old Dwarven Glossary

• Drachen-krieg, Dragon war, the dwarven holy crusade against dragons
• Einheit-krieg, Unity War, the dwarven holy crusade to unite the world for Drachen-krieg
• Gattin-erst, The first wife of a man, she holds dominion over all his other Gatten and has veto power over his subsequent Gattin
• Gattin-sek, All wives of a man after the first.
• Gottshwert, God's Word, their holy book that their whole society is based on.
• Handkampf, The hand to hand fighting style learned by all warriors but taken to the next levels by Kleru and Kleru-frau
• Kaiser, The ruler of a Thaig(stronghold)
• Kleru, A priest or of the cleric caste. Every group of Krieger has a Kleru advisor who in reality is in command.
• Kleru-Frau, A female priest considered to be a bride of Gott, unlike the Kleru they command no men but they are also the only ones among the clan who can predict the future using their dice.
• Kri'weg, Literally means war path, but actually is the training grounds kept by each clan to train the next generation of warriors.
• Krieger, A warrior, assigned to a unit. They hunt dragons as well as fight in disputes between clans and thaigs.
• Krieger-Erst, The first Warrior. Each thaig has a first warrior who gives up their tribe to become the leader of all the thaig's Krieger
• Krieg'Kleru-Erst, Literally first warrior priest. This is the name dwarves give to the deliverer because he lead them both martially and spiritually
• Halberman, Half Man. This is the caste of all those who fail out of Kleru and Krieger training. They are the craftsmen and merchants of the dwarf clans
• Lebensweg, Life's Path. The event that young dwarves are taken to determine their future caste.
• Schwacher, Weak one, it is an insulting but common word for those who aren't dwarves because they are automatically weak
• Uberkleru, The head Kleru of a particular clan
• Uberkleru-Frau, The head Kleru-Frau of a particular clan
• Uberkrieger, A captain of the Krieger. Each unit has one, usually presiding over between 14 to 49 other Krieger of the same clan
