Session 2
General Summary
7th and 8th of Zava 2235
The successfully fends off the attempted robbery with all of thier belongings intact, Lornel makes the rounds ensureing everyone is alright and the shaken but start moving the bodies into one area in the inn. Thankfully the only ones hurt in the attack was the party.
The town leaders everntually wake up and do not remember much of the night, they introduce themselves as Lieutenant Vor, the head of the Arrs Watch. Aivak Bladden the local Priest of Riant. And Thom the Eld of the town they are thankful for the party's assisstance and Thom requests fpr the Party to meet with him tomorrow as they leave to go and assess the rest of the town's situation.
The next day the party leaves the Inn to find that the entire town has been raided and half of it is destroyed, and despite the obvious damage to the town there is still a small market down by the docks. Eventually the Party finds Thom in the town hall, the hall is filled with books many of which have been scattered over the floor. Thom looks deshveled obviously didnt sleep last night, he personally thanked the party as the Watch was knocked out the party were the only ones able to fight back again.
Thom proposed an idea, the attackers are unknown and took everything the town had, he wants the party to recover the what they can of the gold and to find out who these attackers are. In return the party could keep a small tithe of gold, additionally Thom beleives there is a traitor in the Watch or Soldiers and that the military would pay for thier unveiling and or capture dead or alive. While Lornel and Flykra head towards the Watch-Keep, here they spoke to Lt Vor and he said that no one was off or acting unusual. There was however a cross over between the server at the Inn and an apprentice cook at the Watch-Keep.
It seems that only the capable fighters were kncoked out as priest Bladden was knocked out despite not being a member of the Watch. There was a few deaths and injuries among the towns folk but the attackers were clear in what they wanted: Gold. Lt Vor is atamant that if there is a mole it is not one of his men.
As Sammie was fishing for food he managed to hook a large Sawfish which along with 100gp traded to a blacksmiths familiy who will turn it into an actual weapon for him. Additionally Ito visitied the funeral pyre burning the bodies of the attackers here she noticed that a few of the attackers had the same tattoo - A dragon head with a sword piercing it. Ito then 'took' one of these tattoos.
Back at the Watch-Keep Lornel and Flykra discovered that an beer casket that was not right and that most of it had been drank, the barrel was placed into the armorery for safe keeping just in case. Lornel and Flykra also found out that an elderly man named Blen was a cook and training Zurren to replace him, there was another member of staff named Morlen who not only helped cooked but also cleaned the Watch-Keep.
Lornel and Flykra headed back to the watch keep and found out that Zurren was the young server who cooked them breakfast and served last night, he also lives near the edges.
