During your upbringing, children are encouraged to follow their dreams and passions, even if that mean they have to leave the safety of their hometown. One of the most populair professions a child dreams of is the one of being a seeker. In this line of work you chase knowledge and new truths. It gives you freedom and status. Seekers are highly thought of and command respect.

The road to become a seeker

To become a seeker, a long and hard road must be traveled, many who want will fail and return home empty handed. First you need to clear yourself from any prejudices. Knowing you know nothing and ask questions about everything and anything. There is no school or training you can attend to becoming a seeker. If you're lucky you can become the student of a seeker, only a few seekers make use of students though. You are only as good as your last success, and that is why for many, their first find is also their last.

Being a seeker

When you established yourself as a seeker, many will specialize in a specific type of seeker. You will be known as 'The seeker of ...'. Examples are 'The seeker of simplicity' or 'The seeker of logic'. There is no list of the kind of seeker you can become, you will have to find it yourself. One of the most famous seekers is Cassandra van Acht, who is the seeker of the 'unexpected'. Even among the seekers guild she stands out because with her, you never know what your gonna get.
