Duijvenhof
High in the mountains of Splijt there is one village Duijvenhof. Higher than any village found in Andeau. It's said that if you want to know if your love is true and pure you will know when visiting this town. That's why a lot of people will make the trip, through the rough mountains and unhabited places. But reaching the destination is worth it. Not only to get the awnsers you want, but also because its a beautiful lively place. Not many people live here, most of them live from the travellers seeking for an awnser. Some of them want to be in town till they're taking their last breath of fresh air.
Something keeps away all evil from this place. Clouds do almost never cover this village, and when it does, the lights from around creates a beautiful scene, full of magic and wonder. But most of the time Duijvenhof will have they're clouds beneath them. Which on its own results in a beautiful view of the covered lands below. When this happens, people will experience a new kind of peace and silence, like nothing can touch them and all evil has left the world.
Torteltoren
In the middle of the town you find the Torteltoren. A high tower from which you can see both sides of the Splijt crystal clear. There is no ritual you have to go through to get your awnsers. Just being there will tell you everything you need to know. The magic of the place seems to take away all dreadfull threads and thoughts. This place makes you able to live with your new found knowledge, even if it is not what you hoped for. But when you do find out that your love if honest, it gives you a new kind of courage and confidence. If you want you can take your vows then and there, though knowing the truth is for most visitors enough.
Wanting to know is not a sign of distrust. Relieving yourself from any doubt is a way of fighting for what you're worth.
