Primal Spirits

I guess? These are the spirit of predation. They're not evil, exactly, but they're predatory, much as beasts usually are. They're also curious, but mostly they're just hungry.

These are almost always the spirits of beasts, not quite souls, that bled through the natural world and into the primordial realm. The energy belongs there for certain, and sometimes the consciousnesses of more-developed creatures become aware and able, and their link to the previous world gives them a means by which to connect to those on it.

Most of the time, this leads to stories of ancestor gods, which is technically true. The wild folks of the world often revere these spirits more than the gods, because they guide more ably and to better ends.
