This is the vernal equinox celebration, dedicated to family, togetherness, and Home. Reinforcing existing homes or rebuilding old ones, whatever have you, the Woodsfolk of Forests of Noress get together and exchange house-related gifts. Mostly furs, but lumber or whole rooms isn't unheard of for the civilized.
It's often a celebration treated as one for gathering loved ones and doing a headcount-- if there's any point on the calendar that a nomad will return to the 'home base' or woodsfolk will gather, it's this time of year. Family reunions aren't unheard of, either.
Parts of the tradition include cooking, but the size and amounts and what varies pretty widely by locality and sometimes even between families.
It's real cute to watch this one try to cross cultural borders, frequently well-intended insults passing across the ways amongst much confusion and awkward thanks.
