L'Odessean

An extremely skilled master of psychic magic, L'Odessean has a talent for getting into peoples' heads to manipulate their thoughts, feelings, or even their own bodies; and also manipulating the spaces around him with telekinesis.

He was in his later third century when he decided to live with a grandson, who was establishing a home with his wife and husband and girlfriend, and between them and several friends, he had a successful village and comfortable life weaving.

This came to a sudden and brutal end in 4347 (I think) when Eupa, unsupervised and in a bad mood, slaughtered his entire family, all their friends, and everyone else he lived with while he was collecting dye materials.

He returned to the bloodbath and caught Eupa when she was trying to kill him. Instead, he kept her prisoner for five days, trapped her within her own head, and forced her now-mindless body to dig the graves for his murdered loved ones.

Despite much promising to do so, L'Odessean did not and could not kill Eupa. He suffers for quite a long time from this senseless attack, and he returns to the feywild to stay with that family, where it's safer. He does begin to specialize in memory refinement to help those who have also lost loved ones, and his hiatus on teaching the weaving technique after all its users were slaughtered brought prices up pretty well.
