Fundamental magic
Fundamental, Arcane, Shaping, Physics-warping magic, a kind used by certain sorcerers (as D&D defines sorcerer, a naturalborn magic user), which can be used to warp reality in bits and pieces, altering the connections between the very cells of a thing.
The manipulations include:
Disintegration, to break the things apart;
creating, manipulating, or removing light;
amplifying, manipulating, or dampening sound;
corrupting or poisoning, generally organic material but can turn water into alcohol;
freezing or burning things by altering temperature;
plain old telekinesis, which includes punching people in the face with your mind among other things;
creating, manipulating, or dampening electrical charges;
decay, particularly of organic material but fully capable of causing rust or sucking the life out of a battery;
and particularly powerful people can alter reality itself and cause black holes if they're not careful.
Most people that can use them will only be able to use or control one or two kinds, but more powerful sorcerers can end up with more or all of them. (Those usually blow themselves up before they get to their twenties.)
Most noted practicioners are Daemon and Brina the Perfect Vessel, one of whom had to get a demonskin graft to even get his to work properly, and the other whom needed a dampener with a vent for the rest of her life.
The Cat used it to make the planet before he gave it to Dragon.
