Dhexros

Dhexros, the god of the afterlife

Being the younger brother to Xovais, he revered him the most.
This made him oblivious to what would become the gods' first treachery and murder.
For some reason hidden to all, Xovais, upon arriving and receiving fealty of the dragons, stabbed Dhexros with a blade forged from dragonbreath.
Being hurt by the one he loved most, he opened the gate to the afterlife and became its warden.

The races he created all straddled the boundaries between death and life:
Tiefling, Aasimar, Vampire / Dhampir, Hexblood, Reborn

He took the following Domains within his purview:
Death, Vengeance, Zeal


People in mourning pray to him in hopes of safe passage of their loved ones.
He is very much a silent god, almost never being felt by his followers; with the exception being those who become consumed by revenge and those who have been betrayed.
