Personal history

Caena Hallester was the last known Hallester alive until the birth of her son Faolan Hallester. She was born in Harling north in Revendell, a small town which her family had lived in for generations since the fall of house Blackhall and their loss of Black Cliff. They had been made into common people who lived a normal life in this hard landscape. She lived there with her parents and two older brothers. In A4 599, a man had come to Harling who Caena had fallen for, the two spent time together while he was saying in the village before continuing his travels, this led to Caena becoming pregnant just as news of the orcish invasion known as the Maw Invasion would begin. Within a half a year the orcs had made their way past Autumn Rock and into Revendell proper. This began with the burning and plundering of small villages such as Harling. The orcs invaded her village, but her father had sent her and her mother off on a carriage going to the capital in hopes of saving them, her mother never made it to the carriage and all Caena could see as she fled the village was the brave townsfolk defending their escape as the village went up in flames. The journey south was difficult for Caena who ended up becoming sick and gave birth to her son Faolan. She and the other refugees from Harling made it to Revendell where she was taken to Whitehall Keep where she pleaded with her dying breath for her child to be shown mercy by the family who had originally unseated them as nobles of Black Cliff. Terrowin III Whitehall promised her that the child would be looked after as she passed on.
