Genetics and Reproduction

Bondrasi reproduces the same way as humans, a bondrasi being born to another bondrasi is about 50%. A bondrasi can also be born as long as a distant family member was a bondrasi and a bondrasi can be born if their parents were exposed to the raw powers of limbo during their pregnancy. In some cases, it is even possible to become a bondrasi in such circumstances, but it is very rare and since their creation has almost never been done.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Bondrasi are spread around Tyrania without a certain or distinct place to call home. Most Bondrasi try to hide their true nature as they are often viewed with distrust and suspicion.

Average Intelligence

The guidance of the voices a bondrasi experience can heavily impact their intelligence. Some bondrasi are guided positivly by these voices, using them to further their own understanding of the world around them, while others are driven to confusion by them.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Bondrasi has the same basic senses as humans. The only difference is that the voices in their head might guide them in situations of self-preservation.

History

Bondrasi is not an evolved race, but instead a conditional race much like aasimars, dhampires, or even sorcerers. The proper discovery of bondrasi and recognizing them as more than individual cases came after Dürthang as a result of the increase in their numbers and much of the research done into them. They existed before the calamity, but were never truly understood or recognized then. Bondrasi are spiritually connected to the plane of Limbo especially, with the influence of the lost spirits found there, intervening and breaching the natural planar borders to occupy and meld with human races. Most bondrasi which exist now can trace their lineage directly to the victims of Tharizdun breaking through to the prime material plane as Limbo's borders were also entangled in this effort, releasing their lost spirits and winds of madness upon the races of the prime plane, killing most who were infected by this madness, but those who survived (most of which were humans), became the new bondrasi. This condition seems completely incurable by any magical means, though it can be lessened or controlled by the right people and magical intervention, something most will never have access to. The condition also runs in the blood of the bondrasi, with most of the children born to bondrasi also having the condition. This has caused much conspiracy about the race as the continued breeding of their condition is difficult to understand as the condition was normally found in those who had been in direct contact with the madness of limbo or its inhabitants.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Bondrasi seek the same companionship as any other race, but have an unique and intimate ritual which can only be done between bondrasi. They have the ability to link their minds in an act of melding which is more personal and intimate than any other act. This ritual is only done between bondrasi which truly trust and cherish eachother as it unites the experiences and memories of both parts to an extent where it feels as if they are one for a moment. It is said this act can be done with only one bondrasi and a non-bondrasi, but at great risk and effort for the bondrasi.
