Shorewatch Tower

This 60-foot-tall tower was the first defensive building of Port Marley. It still serves as an armoury and lookout, as well as the official base of the town guard. 

One hundred ragtag warriors serve in the town guard. Each of them carries a town guard's coin, and is armed with a club and pistol while on patrol. Guards work in pairs, operating from guardhouses built near the town gates and a smaller station located at the docks.

The captain of the town guard is Eliander Fireborn. Eliander spends most of his time here in his duties as commander of the guard. He sometimes has need for adventurers, posting such jobs on a board hanging by the tower's entrance. 

A recent hire, Lester Glanzkopf, act as Eliander's second-in-command and sheriff for day-to-day duties.
