Adventure 1

Session 1

Beginning as a nameless, unknown grouping of two adventurers. Riree, surname unknown, and Grog Veil'thro were passers-by in the small village known as Townsville. Having not known each other, they had made each other's acquaintance through mutual entertainment out of the bizarre people of the down. Ironic, isn't it? One of these bizarre people they found, just as weird as them, was Kaze, a local folk hero. The overconfident warrior has seen little battle, but does his best to help out with the village's needs. He's kind-hearted, and would meet these new adventurers with open arms. The former mayor of the village, had warned them both of the dangers of a camp located within a nearby forest into the north, with it's leader having had earlier disputes, and a disliking, towards the mayor. The two adventurers, seeing it as a way for either money or something to do, had accepted, and joined arms in adventuring for the first, of many times. The White Locust's Syndicate had been in fear of these camps attacking almost every settlement on Halland Island , but The Hallandary have not gave them any moment to voice their concerns. The duo vowed to investigate, and embarked on their first of many journeys as friends.

Session 2

The adventure had finally embarked. The duo made their way northbound, a brief exit from Townsville. There was talk of the original attacks having originated from the outskirts of a camp on the northwest side of the Foggy Forest. Nicknamed by most of the villagers for the bizarre mist originating from inside. To find out their answers, the duo descended down the pathways, into the forest, to find out what has been targeting the Lotus Syndicate, as well as Halland Island on a whole spectacle. Early within their travels, not too far from sight of Townsville, a Blight had made an attack on the two, trapping them within the roots they were walking over. Alas, the two were powerful combatants, and their synergy allowed for the swift defeat of their plantborn enemy. Their journey to the Cliff Face Camp would only have one more interruption, being that of a lost dog. Riree took the opportunity to befriend the animal. Having made a new ally, the dog was named Charlie, and became the first, of many, pets for the draconic thief.
Through Grog's tracking of some of the members of the camp, he had managed to find the clearing out of the forest, and to the camp. It was there that Riree would deceive the group into believing that she is a kobold. The group introduced themselves as members of The Emerald Claw , which only accepted allies from those of 'Monstrous Races', originating from what the Hallandary considered Monstrous. They were tired of exclusion, and wished to attack the ones that caused this, only to scare them.

Session 3

The camp had taken to the two newcomers with open arms. These people were friendly, and ultimately not a proper threat. Their captain, however, would give a prideful speech to everyone in the camp, Riree and Grog included. He went on about their plan of attack, which the duo would deduce to be one of stupidity, of just rushing into Townsville, and attacking both the mayor and the members of the White Lotus Syndicate, and then running away. He also made mention of a second camp that existed close by, also working within the Emerald Claw. With a good enough distraction from Grog, the duo escaped back into the forests, and would return to warn Townsville of the upcoming dangers, and that they would not actively harm any of their targets, drastically. A plan of action was made, specifically for the camps that would've been involved in the attack, as well as members of Townsville as a whole. This was to unite them all under one event, for the inclusion of those that felt isolated from Halland Island's societies. Akin to the annual sporting events found within Raman, the capital of the Hallandary, found on the south-west side of Halland Island. For the preparations, Riree and Grog had gone separate ways, to bring both camps to Townsville. Alas, the horrid fate of Charlie, Riree's dog, would be met with a Phase Spider, one that had attacked the two on their way to the cliffside camp. With her dog dead, Riree was in despair, in time for their events to begin, at Townsville.

Session 4

With all reunited in Townsville, the event was now underway. A small memorial was made beside Kaze's house, for the recently deceased Charlie. Speaking of the Folk Hero, he was bizarrely missing from the event, nowhere to be found in the village. Members of the coastal town eastbound from Townsville, Cliffside, had begun to make their journey over to the event, having arrived not long after the memorial was made. The events were won mostly by the Snap, Crackle, Pop, name decided by the two adventurers. Feats of strength was won by the mighty Grog Veil'thro, who now revealed his origin as a member of Beetlesmasher village, not too far into the mountains on the western reaches from Townsville. The event would be known in history as the time the Emerald Claw was first united into the Halland Island societies. Alas, the Snap, Crackle, Pop wouldn't let this be the last time, either.

Session 5

Now with Kaze being missing, the duo would begin an expedition to try and find him. They found strange tracks from the village of Townsville, having led firstly east-bound, towards the coastlines of Halland Island. Along the shorelines, their duo would turn to being a trio, having met Gormand 'Aldama. Mumbling to himself of the Great Journey, their initial encounter would come to a halt with the intervention of three harpies, wild in nature, attacking from the sea, heading into land in their assault. Bonding over their shared fight, and that they made a good team, Gormand had joined forces with them both, to find the folk hero. This fight, however, also brought the attention of a Boar. One that'd be tamed by Riree, and given the name Nugget. He was to carry their belongings, with the promise of food in return. Their trail would lead to dead bodies found within the Splitfin Streams, and through curiosity, would begin going deeper into Halland Island's hills and mountainous regions.

Session 6

Further up the stream was a fishing village known as Splitfin Sturgeon. This small region was home to mainly fishmongers and beast hunters. Traces of a monster were found behind homes, with remains hidden beneath the bridges connecting to other trails upon the river. Following trails, the trio had found the home of a Quaggoth, within a cave not too far from the Sturgeon that had trails of blood towards the river coming from it's entrance. In a quick battle, the trio would slay the monster, having thought it as the villain behind the corpses found within the river. Its cave was looted, Gormand having taken elements of a longsword, that he deemed could make a perfect weapon for his conquest of peace. Alas, the Quaggoth was merely a defender of the Sturgeon from any potential monster.

Session 7

Having left the cave, a little guilty over the past actions, the trio would spend a little more time within the settlement, having organised a group of warriors to protect the local area from now on. During this, the forging of the Moontouched Longsword was enacted, and Gormand used it as his primary weapon. Their search for Kaze brought them northbound, and to pass over the largest portion of the Splitfin river, Gormand would channel his divinity into making a bridge of the dirt beneath his feet, commonly called the Centipede Bridge (I can't canonise it as a whole bunch of centipedes I'm sorry). The trail ended a small bit away from a large tower built upon the edge of a cliff that overlooked Halland Island's north. It was here that both Kaze and his captor were residing. This tower was built by a once-powerful fire giant that had lived on Halland Island. His brutal rage led to his bitter downfall from The Hallandary, however, and from then, his lair has been a dormant shell of what it once was, until overtaken once more by another raging warrior.
Grog's brute strength had broken off the steel doors that prevented the trio from getting inside of the tower. The entrance was grand, and deep in details of giant folklore, having been engraved upon the pillars and walls that held up this room, and ultimately the tower. Having descended further, a furnace-like room with six stone heads, depicting giants, was faced with the adventurers. Once halfway, the room's trap had been activated, with hot lava pouring from each of the heads in the room. With a pool forming, our adventurers had little time to stop themselves from becoming incinerated. Riree managed to both disarm the trap, and open the hidden door which led to the Throne Room, near the top of the tower before it'd come to a point. This came after Gormand suffered burns, along with losing his shield. Alas, more important stakes had arised. Kaze was trapped, bound to the throne of the former Fire Giant. Tanurrak himself, an orc infused with the dangerous perks of being a devil, declared himself to be the Saviour to the Emerald Claw, no matter what they said. The battle between them all was long, hard, and filled with perils. Alas, it came to an end with the supposed death of the Orc. Not to the adventurers' knowledge, he had used a simple, deceiving spell to fake his death, and escape with his life by teleporting outside of the tower thanks to a spell scroll. With that, the Great Kaze was saved, and ready to return to his home, Townsville. Not only that, but a hefty price of gold could be found in the corners of the room, netting the adventurers a good amount of cash.

Session 8

The escape from the tower was much easier than getting in, having just gone back the way they've come, only now with Kaze. Breaking out, the Hero would take his leave. Townsville needed its hero after all. With sunset approaching, the three adventurers would set up camp not too far away. Throughout the night, when Riree was on watch, she had been met with a mountain goat. Mutual scavenging for food brought the two to a bond, and by morning, Riree essentially had another pet. The adventuring life was for the party, and the mentions of the Emerald Claw by Tanurrak sparked curiosity in them all, on what was truly going on in the Legion of freedom fighters' core. With not many places left upon the eastern side of the island, the adventurers would scale the mountain ridges from along the central belt of Halland Island. With Grog's expertise as he hailed from Beetlesmasher Village, he made a good wayfinder through the rocky terrain, and near the end of their travels, they had met a warrior named Brutus, the second half to the Adamos Smiths, from the city known as PlaceNaimsAHarrd. A large city below the mountain ranges of Halland Island, sat between the mountains near a natural reservoir. Brutus led them there, as a place for rest, and also to potentially scout out other members to the Emerald Claw.
When at the trade city, the first thing Riree had done was sought out a conjurer, desperate to find a way to bring her deceased dog, Charlie, back to the realm of the living. In her time of hopeless necesity for aid, she would find herself blessed with the luck of the gods, the city being home to a portal specifically to Elysium. With a signet in purpose for Charlie, she sacrificed it to bridge the gap between words. Reformed as a blessed dog, Charlie would be brought back as a loyal, eternally bonded companion to Riree, who cherished him immensely upon his return. After her necessary derailment, they would, upon Brutus' guidance from before, managed to navigate the busy markets until finding a forge ran by Aelius, the brother to the felllow Adamos Smith. Grog saw to the making of the Minotaur Scimitar, whilst the others began to investigate a magical shop that sold minor enchantments. Nothing too powerful would be found there, but Gormand enchanted one of his weapons, the longsword he had looted from the Quaggoth's cave before. Bestowed onto it by the Enchanter of the store, the longsword would be given the soft light of Aitso's Moon, letting it emit a soft glow when in a dark environment, if it's user decides to. Lucky, with that, or else the others would have a lot of issues with it whilst trying to sleep!
However, their business within this shop would be given a bizarre interruption. One of by the hands of a Kobold artificer, who'd essentially spit in their faces and insult them for many things, none of which applied to them. This was 'WaWa' , a member of the core sect to the Emerald Claw. On business, he had taken a few enchantments by force, then threatening the party that if he would be followed, or pursued in any way, shape, or form, then he would alert 'The King' about the blemish they caused onto the Emerald Claw. With an order, WaWa claimed that their heads would be brought to the King. Then he left, which left the three in a state of confusion as to what they have just gone through, alone with their own thoughts.
The last enchantments found was an augment on Grog's Greataxe, giving it a slight tinge of unholiness, to the dismay of Gormand. Their purpose in PlaceNaimsAHarrd came to a close with the mild poisoning of WaWa's drink, causing him to throw up within the town square. A complete embarrassment on his part. But the King wanted their heads, no doubt about it. During their prank on WaWa, they had managed to pickpocket a key from him, one carved with intricate gems for it's teeth. A key to the Emerald Estate, the King's Home. If he wanted their heads, he'd need to do it himself. The SCP went Eastbound, onward.

Session 9

Embarking onto their new journey, to defeat the King, the Snap Crackle Pop would find themselves encountering a trio of guildless goblins, riding atop an Ogre. A deadly foe, but ultimately the three adventurers won their skirmish, and broke through the opposing forces and into a small forest upon the south of the mountain ridges of Eastern Halland Island. Here, they would find a lone Warforged, by the stump of a torn down tree. Faltering, they managed to carry it across a river, stopping them from being hurt. A simple message was given by Grog to this robot, which was to go to Townsville, due to it being safe and a welcoming environment to newcomers.
The journey into this small forest with short and sweet, culminating at the foot of one of the neighbouring mountains of Morta Mountain , this one, instead of being filled with horrors yet to be seen, instead being the home to a small group of Flumphs. These jellyfish-like aberrations were more than friendly, able to communicate with one another, and ultimately offer a safe journey over the mountain, encased in a sphere of the Flumphs. This led them to the coastlines of Halland Island, faced with boundless oceans in pursuit of the Emerald Claw's Leader. The key drawn them to higher reaches, to where the boat that Gormand sailed on to reach Halland Island had rested upon the beach to the island. With Grog being able to carry it to the seas, the three would take to the oceans, ready to face off against the King. With the eastern seas, there came many perils that would face them all. The most deadly, rather than tides and storms, was a beast of the darkest depths, where gigantism has taken a plesiosaurus and turned it into a huge threat to the three. It nearly took the boat down with it, but would be ultimately defeated.
Upon the island, the adventurers would use all they could to take down this supposed king. After reconnaissance from Riree, she was able to find out that the King was an Orc by the name of Yeltz. Yeltz being the supposed king of all orcs, along with being the Leader of the Emerald Claw. The guards to the estate, which was embedded with large gemstones, making key pillars to the building practically impenetrable. The guards would be swiftly taken out, frozen and then smashed to pieces. Through the building, they took care of any opponent they found, including a centaur and some other Orc 'Knights', appointed by Yeltz himself. It culminated with WaWa's tower, a place they thought that Yeltz would be in control of. Alas, instead of finding Yeltz, hidden away, they had found only the peak of the tower, making reference to a machine that held imminent, destructive power. It's schematics made reference a sort of chamber, binding whomever be inside to being trapped in the machine. Alas, the room was trapped with a pack of Vargouilles, mutated heads of humans with wings sprouting out where ears once were. They'd swarm the three, and alert the remaining guards of their whereabouts. After this, they had gotten onto the roof of the Emerald Estate, finding out where the specific area that Yeltz' throne was located. All it took was journeying down, and entering the observatory through the main entrance. There sat the Orc King himself, Yeltz. Angered by their meddling over the last few days, he bore his greataxe, and vowed to annihilate the three warriors.

Session 10

The battle that ensued between a King and three Heroes was long and dramatic. The machine, its schematics found earlier, was on display behind his throne, fulfilling Yeltz's thirst for power. Inside of it, harvested of their magic and power, was a divine being in service to Gruumsh, the One-Eyed God of Orcs. It would slowly regenerate Yeltz after every strike, and if he took complete power, he could assume the status of a true King of Orcs. Each blow traded was cataclysmic, but with the combined forces, Yeltz's machine would be destroyed, causing the divine being to slowly be able to break free. The King had no choice, all he could do would be to use his trump card, his spectacle for those that disobeyed him. A bulette, hardened layers of steel on it's carapace, ready to tear the heroes asunder. Compared to all that the Heroes had faced before, the Bullette and Yeltz were essentially their first grand challenge, if Tanurrak is not regarded. Each of their attacks could only hurt the Orc, but were often blocked by the impenetrable monstrosity. Once the being from inside of the Encasement was freed, it gave a single decree, for the Estate to crash and burn. Flames were stoked at the word of Gruumsh's Resplendence. First to perish was the Bulette, unable to handle the flames, followed by Divine Punishment for the King. For their freedom, the being would bring the three adventurers outside of the Estate, free from the burning building, and give them all a bound contract on their own end. If the three needed help at all, they would come to aid them in their time of need.
To end the Legacy of the Broken Claw, the three adventurers sailed around Halland Island, to Cliffside, and had made the journey back to Townsville , in order to celebrate such a time to be alive. On the way, they had decided on the name for their adventuring group, and that the three made for a damn good party. The Snap, Crackle, Pop! Ready to face off evil and look cool as all hell whilst doing it.
