Harddlech
The Elven settlement of Harddlech (often spelled "Harthleck" or "Harlech" in Common) in Rhanbarth y Galon, Cnuic Ghlainne, is located on a cliff overlooking the Môr o Meindyr. Most famous as a settlement that developed around a shrine dedicated to the Goddess Brânwen, Harddlech is a popular location for marriages, vow renewals, naming ceremonies, and dedications, while also being home to one of the most renowned counselling facilities on the continent.
The name of the settlement is usually taken to mean "high rock" (a reference to the cliff) or "fine slate/rock" (probably a reference to the labradorite spires that make up much of the cliff's edge.
