The Warren

The Warren is home to the first of the Great Guardians and the only one likely inclined to offer mercy to those who dare trespass in it's lair.   "I applaud you making it across the threshold successfully would be trespassers. You can either leave now or leave never, make your choice"

Design

The room is a 20' diameter sphere, littered with holes on all sides of the inner surface. The walls are loose earth, the tunnels all look freshly dug just large enough for a small creature to crawl through.

Entries

You enter the room on an upward angle, the entrance set below the 'equator' of the room. No other 'proper' entrances or exits are apparent, just the many holes

Sensory & Appearance

Green crystals embedded in the walls give off enough glow to fill the sphere with dim light. The smell of a freshly tilled garden fills the room as the sound of things scurrying about echo out of the holes and fill your ears. As you step into the room your feet press into the loose soil leaving footprints but no matter where you step the edges of the holes stand firm the earth on their rim neither giving way nor collapsing in as you'd expect.

Contents & Furnishings

The space itself is empty

Special Properties

This room is a lair, it provides the guardian who occupies it with special abilities to aid in its efforts

Architecture

The surrounding architecture matches the level of the complex this lair is found on rough rock, loose earth, very cavern like with stalagmites and stalactites. Crystals glow with dim light to illuminate the tunnels and rooms of the level.

Environmental Effects
It's dark but not dank or ominous, the room is chilly like you'd expect in an underground area and yet feels warm in the inviting sense like being welcomed into someone's home/
