The Kiln
The Guardians of the Kiln are collectors of sorts, it's a trait that makes them distinct from most of the others in the complex. Trespassers who make it into their lair are not likely to appreciate their taste in art.
Design
While not at cavernous as The Pillars, with it's much lower twenty foot ceiling and lack of bottomless pit, at one hundred and fifty feet across this circular room is still quite imposing. The luxury of a sure footing you've enjoyed in other chambers abandons you as traversing this ice rink is anything but a sure thing.
Entries
There are three portcullis style gates granting access to this room, the one the players enter through is raised, resting on the shoulders of an unusual looking ice sculpture.
Sensory & Appearance
You can see your breath from the cold, as it blows out and intermingles with the fog. There's a sharp chill in the air not enough to have you trembling yet but will if you give it long enough and don't bundle up against it. If you're quiet you can hear two distinct hard exhales in the room with you and see the fog disturbed in the distance.
A disembodied crowd roars with cheers, jeers, and laughs in response to the shifting tide of battle
Contents & Furnishings
The room is dotted about with statues, ice sculptures, in the form of adventurers with horrified anguished looks on their faces.
Hazards & Traps
The floor is solid ice, there's a risk of slipping and falling if you try to move too fast on it
Special Properties
As a lair this room grants special abilities to the its resident Guardian
Architecture
Icicles hang from the glacier like ceiling. A fog slightly obscures your view but you can see and feel water running down the walls, flowing through ornate tiny canals carved into the smooth stone floor turning to steam as it moves about. Laminar spurts of water leap about from fountain to fountain made from elaborate ice sculptures.

Environmental Effects
It's cold, not enough of a deep freeze as to be an immediate threat but prolonged exposure to those not prepared for it will certainly become a risk. A thin fog settles low within the room just obscuring the floor.
