When a creature consumes this mushroom, they must make a DC13 Willpower saving throw or become convinced they are being watched by fiendish eyes for 1 hour. During this effect, they are considered frightened of any creature with eyes that looks directly at them as well as any artistic representation of eyes.
A slimy aggregation of deep red sludge that forms in areas of demonic corruption, amoebeye mould develops spherical growths that closely resemble the eyes of various intelligent races. Some researchers believe that these growths may be used as the focal point for demonic scrying.
