They aren't especially intelligent in combat, and will march toward an enemy even in cases where a less direct approach would be better. They have no concept of pain and will not retreat from a fight until their enemy is dead or refuses to fight back.
Archaole are a collection of roots tightly knit around ruins and other infrastructure. The Archaole then detaches the ruins and wears it like a suit of armor as it lumbers throughout its habitat. The Archaole are peaceful, but strong brutes of the wood who tend to keep their distance from society, but on occasion, have protected people in the wood from not only physical threats, but also from things such as starvation and dehydration. Their bodies are built dense and slow, but on the inside, there exists Archaofruit, a type of orange-like fruit that is considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, their veins also have a viscous water-like liquid sap. To them, all in their habitat are guests.
Salvage Archaole upon death will disassemble and drop the ruins, the ruins may have ancient knowledge or some sort of magic about them. They will also deposit their seeds, the Archaofruit, which functions as a healing potion. It can also be sold for 50gp to some culinary merchants, though gourmets may pay less or more.
