You whip up a swirling vortex of air. Each creature in a 30-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 bludgeoning damage and is pulled by the vortex to a space within 5 feet of you. You choose the space for each affected creature, unless moving within 5 feet of you is not possible, in which case a target moves to the closest possible space in the cone. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pulled.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the range of the spell increases to a 60-foot cone.
